Also if you or they have any questions or conerns or want to talk, feel free to PM me. It is tough news to hear at first, but once you get past that, its a great experience just like any other child.

I noticed your in MA, we're in MA too. There are a lot of great events that take place each year. Its a great community to belong to. The MSDC (Mass Down Syndrome Congress) is having its annual Buddy Walk and Family Picnic next month (Reading Area) and each year, typically in March, is the Conference in Worcester. If they're north of Boston, we have a GREAT family support group with monthly play groups for the kids and monthy meetings/gatherings for the parents.
