Parental control apps

Hey all,

Was wondering if any of you know of any apps that can limit the times your kids use iPad/touch?

Looking specifically for one that you can set specific times of the day that it would be "locked" to any use. I did find one that fit was I was looking for in the description (so it said) but it had horrible reviews that said it was worthless.

I normally am able to restrict dd's use, but I work evenings 3 days a week, and on those days, I know my rules aren't enforced. By setting an app up that they would only have access during specific times, I wouldn't have to worry about that.

I have SafeEyes on my PC and that program has what you are looking for. There is a mobile version but I do not know if it has the same restriction option. Your best bet is to call or email them; They have always been very helpful when I have contacted them in the past.

Thanks for the reply... I see that this is a wonderful internet filter, but I don't see where it blocks usage times (which is what I'm looking for). Am I missing on their site that it offers that too?

I use "Limit Game Time Now" You have to go into settings and adjust the notifications but it works pretty well with my kids. A notification will pop up every few seconds until you enter the password.
Unfortunately Apple does not allow apps to be made that would lock down the device completely during certain times. Maybe IOS7 will have a solution since then new Kindle seems to be leading the way for parental controls- hopefully apple is taking note.

I see this internet parental control can filter unwanted sites online, but I am not sure if it can limit time, you can have a look at it.
