I am looking for a good parental control app to monitor my kid's devices. So far we have just been using the controls built in with apple to prevent youtube, browser, and app store.

However, would like to let my kids (safely) search and surf the web. Looking for a content filter, and one that shows what the kids have been doing.

Also one that locks out after a certain amount of time would be good. Any suggestions?

WE started with Qustodio, but then realized it is only free for one device and we have two kids. Any other ideas?

I like the Family Protector app. It's $5 a month for the family and I have all 3 kids on it. I can choose the apps they can use, turn any app off on a device if needed, set times they can use apps, and shut all apps off for a "time out" for any set amount of time. I have weekends set up with different settings than school nights and I can shut any of their devices down from my phone if needed no matter where they are. It has been working well for us and keeps them from having too much screen time. It's so easy use. My kids are 14, 12, and 9 (2 phones and an iPod) and they all have individual settings based on what is appropriate for their ages.

We are able to turn off wifi to our kids' phones at a certain time through our wifi router. DH can also look and see what they have been doing online.
