"Parent Trap" with Dennis Quaid

I love the Parent Trap! And I do like the remake better than the original...

Did anyone notice the cameo by the original fiance in the remake? The lady who played the Dad's fiance (I think her name was Vicki in the original, not Meredith) played Dennis Quaid's future mother in law (Meredith's mom) in the remake.

I'm such goof ball, whenever I see that movie I get goosebumps when the twins finally realize they're sisters at camp!

Oh, and I LOVE the Butler! He's hysterical!

The Butler is definitely funny! I think some of his scenes are when I laughed hardest. I was so happy for him to get together with Jessie too!

Oh yeah, he is cute in any movie! I first fell in love with him in Jaws 3 and Innerspace.

Parent Trap is my favorite movie of all time. I am not one to even watch a movie twice & I have seen Parent Trap countless times. I love Dennis Quaid in this movie! Hhe is only 1 of 3 men (besides DH) who turns my head.

I like to think of myself as a Parent Trap Connoisseur...I have watched those movies countless times. I even sat through Parent Trap 2 and 3 in the 80's...the ones that starred a grown-up Haley Mills.

Another way the remake references the original is there is a scene where Lindsay Lohan is humming "Let's get together, yeah, yeah, yeah" and that's the song Haley Mills performed on the guitar or bango in the original.

DD has been watching the newer one for the past couple of weeks. I rented the original for her this weekend and we watched it yesterday. I didn't realize that about the 1st fiance and the future MIL.
