Yes, I know this movie is 8 years old, but I watched it for the first time today.

What I want to know is, why would anyone have to go through that much work to get someone together with Dennis Quaid? :confused3

I love that movie and I have no idea why!

I love that movie. :thumbsup2
And I wouldn't kick him out of bed. :smooth:

I love this version more than the original. Lindsay Lohan was brilliant. Too bad she's turned into such a freak.

I kind of like Dennis Quaid.....I'm guessing you don't? :confused3

I love him, I am just wondering why anyone would have to plot to get someone together with him. To me, you showed me Dennis Quaid, I'd just be like "OK, when is the wedding" :rotfl2:

I read it that way at first, too, but then I figured out that she means it would NOT be hard to get someone to fall for Dennis Quaid. Right?

Have you seen the original movie, Aidensmom? I love it. The remake was good, too, though.

I think she's implying the opposite

I love that movie too, a lot, a lot, a lot. ;)

Dennis Quaid is a cutie. I love that movie. :goodvibes

ah...makes more sense to me now!

It's been a long night at work

We saw Dennis Quaid last summer in Montana when we went to a hot springs to swim. He has a house close by there and was hanging out at the bar with some friends. My girls were pretty excited and it took me a little while to realize that all the kids with us had seen Parent Trap no telling how many times. He's very popular with the younger set ;)

We didn't ask for an autograph or anything, just didn't seem right given the setting.

Have you seen "Somthing to Talk about" with Julia Roberts? he is even cuter in that one! :cloud9:

We watched that movie today too! Probably the 4th or 5th time we've seen it but we still love it and I still got all misty when they got back together. I think it's a great movie. Liked him in Something to talk about too!

I agree! Dennis was "cute" in it too. ;)

The Dennis Quaid tag was inspired by a viewing of "Parent Trap" during last year's sleepless nights due to anesthesia.

DH today commented that the other tags were in need of refreshing, but that one still makes him laugh!

Oh yeah, he is cute in any movie! I first fell in love with him in Jaws 3 and Innerspace.

I know, I am hopeless.

I love the Parent Trap! And I do like the remake better than the original...

Did anyone notice the cameo by the original fiance in the remake? The lady who played the Dad's fiance (I think her name was Vicki in the original, not Meredith) played Dennis Quaid's future mother in law (Meredith's mom) in the remake.

I'm such goof ball, whenever I see that movie I get goosebumps when the twins finally realize they're sisters at camp!

Oh, and I LOVE the Butler! He's hysterical! :rotfl:
