I was in WDW few weeks ago and I have to use parent swap at Expedition Everest. I used parent swap 4 years ago but it works differently than this time - this time me and my another kid has to line up again at the FP line instead of waiting just next to the ride. Did they change it? Thanks.

Anytime I've done Rider swap, the first adult goes through the regular line (or FP line if you have a FP) and then the 2nd adult goes through the FP line with the Rider Swap ticket. We've never waited right next to the ride since they won't allow the child in line if they are not the minimum height allowed.

I don't know how it was in the past but we had the same experience as PP, we could not wait with the first set of riders. When we wanted to use our rider swap we went through the FP entrance. Instead of scanning our MagicBands, we just showed the CM our rider swap ticket and they waved us through.

Thanks...Maybe the first time few years ago it just lucky that the cast member let us step aside at the exit. Not a big deal as we rarely have to use this.

Thanks again.
