Parcel pickup in the parks?

I just heard that you can have your souvenir purchases forwarded to parcel
pickup to be picked up later as you leave the park. Does anyone know
anything about this? Is it available in all parks? Does it cost anything?
Where is parcel pickup? Do you encounter a line of people picking up parcels
when you leave? Is this a good idea? It seems it would beat lugging a bag
around all day.

It does beat lugging a bag around all day.

You need three hours from the time of purchase to the time you intend to leave. Takes that long for the parcel to get to the gate.

When you make your purchase you should be asked if you'd like to send it to the gate. If you aren't asked, ask them. They'll seal the bag/box and fill out some forms, giving you a receipt.

When it's time to leave you go to the parcel pick up (where the strollers, wc, and ecvs are turned in) show your receipt, take your parcel(s) and exit the park.

There may be some people waiting but I've never had much trouble.

If you are staying on WDW property, they'll send it straight to your hotel.

If you are staying at one of the Disney hotels, you can have your purchases at any of the parks, delivered to your hotel with no extra charge. I've always done that. Sorry, but I'm not sure about the parcel pickup.
