Parasailing

Has anyone done this at WDW and if so how was it? How much? Would you do it again? Was it worth it? Sorry I'm such a question box. Thanks for all your help.

I have done parasailing in other places, but not WDW....Yet.
It is very expensive ANYWHERE, and yet I have always felt it was well worth it. I think it is about 85.00
at WDW.

Now a word to the wise:

I was at WDW 12/5 - 12/11, and I had scheduled my parasailing to be on my last full day of vacation.
I was looking forward to this so much. On that day, it was WAY too windy the entire day. They offered to send me up the next day, but I was leaving for the airport the next afternoon. I missed it.

So if you do schedule parasailing for your trip, try to schedule it for the EARLY part of your trip.
This gives you more lee-way for any
bad weather. I will do that for this coming December.

We (me and ds 9 at time)did it 2 years ago together. It was $115.00 then. I think it is $135.00 now(for 2 people). We really enjoyed the view! We scheduled ours for our next to last day, and it was also to windy to go up. We did get to reschedule for the next am and had perfect weather. I would definately plan for the middle of your trip, just in case of bad weather. This trip we plan on the surfing lessons!!!Cant wait

My husband, daughter, and my step dad are going on a week and half. I'll post about it when we get back. My DH and DD are going together at the normal rate, and my DSD is going at the premium rate.

My two kids did it a few years ago, tandem, and loved it. Anybody I have ever talked to who has done it says the same. I do think (not positive), there are AP discounts. Enjoy.

My DD(11) and DH went tamdem a few years ago. Sry don't remember the price. They had a great time. THey said you could see Epcot and MGM as well as MK. My DD(8) and I got to go in the boat as there were only 2 other people scheduled to go with us. They driver had my DD(8) sit on his lap and drive the boat - she thought that was great, they were so good with her.

Both my DD and DH would do it again, and probably will next summer. Like the idea about going early in the trip.
