Parasailing on CC??

My dd(11) and I went tandem in May. I am very afraid of heights, but I sucked it up and went because Savannah, my dd, wanted to go reeeeally bad. I was amazed at how gentle the take off and landing was. Landing was like stepping on a cloud! Savannah had to ask if anyone had ever been accidentally dropped in the water as we were getting our harnesses on. The reply was, no not accidentally!! Well, we were the first to get dipped, only up to our waist, and it was awesome!! I would go parasailing with these guys in a heartbeat!! Have a great time!

Thanks Michele...I am glad to know you went even though you have a fear of heights.

Still looking for the answer to: Is there a signal to give if you want to come down?

I was a bit hesitant to book the parasailing... , but after reading all these comments, I want to go now.
Thanks for all the tidbits and encouragement.

DD and I have it booked for a week from Friday!!!! (July 9, 2004)

Woo Hoo!

I plan on booking this for us for next April, but do you all think the price is a bit steep? I just talked to someone who did it somewhere in the Bahamas and she paid 50.00 for 15 minutes of time up in the air. This is only 6 minutes or so?

I still plan on doing it though, nobody can stop me now!!:D
