So my daughters and I want to parasail when we're at CC. They will be 10 and almost 12 during the trip. My older DD is over 90 lbs, and my younger daughter is under. Can I parasail with my younger DD and let my older one go by herself even though she's under 13 years old? Or do I have to buy two "trips?"

On the parasailing boat they typically take 8 people (more or less). Each person will ride, usually as a double, but you can ride solo as long as you meet the requirements -
  • Minimum allowable weight is 90 lbs; maximum weight is 375 lbs.
  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.
On our parasailing, we had 7 people (3 couples, and a dad, mom, & daughter). All the couples rode as doubles. Dad & daughter rode as a double, and mom & daughter rode as a double.

Thanks. I saw that information, I was just wondering if "accompanied by an adult" meant on the boat, or on the actual parasail. If it's on the boat, then we're all set. If it's on the actual parasail, I will probably need to purchase 2 trips for myself so I can go with each kid, if that makes sense.

No, you just purchase one "trip" for each of you. The "trip" is getting on the boat. While on the boat, everyone gets to parasail. If necessary, one person will ride twice.

When we went last year they let my kids- 18&16- go twice. They went together and then again with me (he put the harness for three on) just for fun. So they would let you (mom) go with both kids if they both needed an adult with them without having to pay twice for yourself.
