Paranormal Activity

I saw it last night with a crap load of people! (the only way I could see it lol) and haha it was SOOOOO scary! I had trouble sleeping last night. does anyone know if its real? because It never said anything like "based on real events" or whatever.

it was scary tho! lol

I saw it last night too!

It is a basically a couple's capturing of paranormal activities in their house in San Diego.

Some of the scenes stopped my heart they were so scary.

Spoiler:
Like when she got out of bed and just stood there for like three hours at a time, or when she was dragged out of bed.

It was really really good. I highly recommend it!

No, it's not real. I read something that specifically said that they are not trying to make it out like it's real. Totally made up.

Yeah it's like a mockumentary. I'm seeing it tomorrow night with a bunch of my friends, which should be really fun. I love scary movies, but I'm actually pretty freaked out already about this one! I'm excited though.

My mom and aunt went to see it the other day when I had school.

My mom said she thought 'A Haunting' (from A&E) was scarier than this. It was really no more than someone's ghosts experiences. If you don't watch shows like 'A Haunting', 'Ghost Hunters', etc. then you might be scared, but otherwise.. probably not.

really? i watch a hauting, GH and GA and i love them. but this movie has me curious but not tempted. i just sort of want to know what happens XD

I absolutly hated it.

And I actually had to pay to see it which dissapointed me.

Only the last 30 minutes were scary. It was a waste of $8.

But I may just be harsh since i work at the theater and see every movie that comes out.

It was way to hyped up, and not as scary as they were saying it was...

Oh I know! He was the perfect blend of comedy and cuteness :cutie:
I liked that they used just average joe's not a completely beautiful girl or a completely hot guy. Just average people :)

i've honestly been more scared by episodes of a haunting than paranormal activity

but if you like laughing at scary movies, i think you'll enjoy this one!

One of the girls in my newspaper class said that there was a $15,000 budget, they filmed the entire thing in the directors house and their goal was for it to be shown nationwide. But I'm not sure on that.

I know! It made it more realistic lol I like the part where the pyschic was like "So, don't bring any negative engergies in this house."

and Mica says "I guess we can't invite your mother over anymore"

lol hes so funny!! :)

He was too cute. :cutie: I loved how he wanted to fix it himself and be the man.

I am taking my grandma to see it one day this week. I wonder what I will see the second time around that I missed the first time. :flower3:

Yeah, now that I know that movie is fake, Its not that bad lol I might to see again. I like a good scare now that I know it is not real lol

I really want to see it, even though I'm terribly afraid of horror movies. I watch ghost hunters/ a haunting and stuff like that but it doesn't scare me.
a bunch of my friends want to see it too.
I overheard in the hallway yesterday a bunch of guys saying how scared they were and that one of their friends cried. hahhahah.

I always love seeing scary movies twice to see any mistakes they may have made, or goofs in editing, that could be because I am a major dork :rolleyes1

If you watch stuff like A Haunting, and Ghost Hunters, this movie is only a baby-step up from them scare wise. I personally thought it was way more realistic than any of those shows on Discover. I didn't think it was scary enough to make anyone cry. We had a lot of people *GASP* and some of the parts, and mostly laugh because they had gotten falsely scared. popcorn::popcorn::

i jumped 4 times and screamed twice.
the screams were at the very end haha.
jump - first instance, the 2 times at the end, i forgt the other hahah.
i had to pee really bad so i ran to the bathroom because i was afraid i was going to pee myself when i got scared hahah.
at the end of the movie, half of my body ended up on my friend..just the combo of jumping and screaming..lol

I WANT TO SEE IT!!!!!!
I want my brother to take me,,,,
probably not going to happen
tell mr how it is!!!!
(sorry about the spelling)

i saw it last night after work.
I FREAKED out at the end
WARNING SPOILERS
when she turns into the camera after the guy gets flung into the room and smiles then turns into a deamon or something:scared1:
or when she was standing over him watching him sleep creeped me out too.
