Paradiso 37 ....

Here's a description Disney released to CMs when it was first announced:
A restaurant and bar opening in spring 2009 in Downtown Disney will feature Mexican and South American cuisine, an international wine bar and a tequila bar of more than 50 kinds of tequila and 10 signature frozen margaritas. The new, as-yet-unnamed restaurant is being developed by E-Brands Restaurant Group, a multi-concept restaurant group that currently owns and operates Timpano Chophouse and Martini Bars, Samba Rooms, Taqueria Canonita, Aquaknox, David Burke, Salsa Orlando and Canonita Express in a number of cities across the United States. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. until late night, with nightly entertainment.

E-Brands also operates the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot. Apart from the quote above and the new name of the restaurant, not much more has been announced by Disney so far. :)

I read on another forum that it is a Mexican/South American restaurant. That's all the info I've seen thus far.

Thank's for the replies !
sounds good to me ...margarita's mmmm

Confirmed date of May 1, 2009. It will highlight 37 countries with in North, Central, and South America. "The Street Foods of America". A two story building with occupancy both inside and outside over looking the lake. It's highlights other than food will be a wine bar that will be upstairs along with a tequila bar. There will be live music as well. The atmosphere will be fun and exciting.

For those who are familiar with DTD, it will be located across from where 8Trax used to be.

Any thoughts on whether or not this place will take the DDP?

If is is like most of the non-Disney owned restaurants at DTD, it will not. (Only three of the current non-Disney TS there accept DDP.)

Might have to try this when DH and I take an adults only trip this June.

Dos shots of Don Julio por favor;)

Has anyone heard anything new about LaDoble? Man, I hope the food is good because the Mexico pavilion food leaves much to be desired.

Just that it is offically called Paradisio 37...has 37 different tequilla's and will be South and Central American. Oh it will have live entertainment, too. Can't wait for reviews starting in May. We will be at DTD later that month and might stop by to see the menu. But probably won't get there until June.

If anyone gets there - please report back on the tequila list. I loves me GOOD tequila!

The opening has been delayed until the end of May. Construction delays I believe. The menu has ingredients from the 37 different countries in the americas. It has a lot of influence from latin american countries. There should be burrittos, enchiladas, gaucamole along with food from the US like burgers, salads, steaks. Its a fun, casual place with a emphasis on great service. There will be a mix of entrees and smaller plates. The kids menu features basics like PBJ, chicken fingers, mini cheeseburgers, and also includes healthy choices such as grill meat, carrot sticks and applesauce. The bar items are the most impressive. 37 different types of tequila, draft beer at 29 degrees, wines from chile, argentina, spain, california, and unique, modern cocktails. There is a main tequila bar and a seperate wine bar upstairs. There will be live entertainment and the bar is open until 12 during the week, 1 on the weekends.

Anyone know if and when they will start accepting ADRs for this? TIA :)
