I have been to Disneyland more times than I can count but I have only stayed at the DLH or off site. For this year's trip, I booked rooms at the Paradise Pier. My question is. . . Is there transportaion between PP and the parks? It looks like a bit of a long walk. What do you think?

Nope, no transportation. You have to walk. The quickest way is across the street, thru the GC, into downtown Disney to the main gate. Or you can go up to the DLH, into downtown Disney and ride the monorail (providing it isnt in refurb. during your trip). Its about a 15 min. walk.

Its a bit of a walk. Not bad in the morning, but you probably will wish it was a little shorter at the end of the day. Its not that bad though, and its more convenient than staying off-site.

Totally agree with Raidermatt! We stayed at PPH last Nov. (previous trips we'd stayed at the Candy Cane Inn). We tried the PPH because they had a great special package at the time. We decided that next trip, we'd be back at the Candy Cane Inn. Our youngest is still only 5, and the evening walks back were hard for him because he was so tired from playing in the parks all day.

We stayed at the Paradise Pier in Nov and are going back this Nov and staying there again, as well we are taking my brother's family. We loved it! The walk is there, but by going through Downtown Disney it seems to take away from the distance. Our kids were 5/10 last year and never once complained about the distance. The hotel itself was great. We didn't do concierge and did find that in the morning there was a wait for the elevator but we weren't very high up and decided to just take the stairs in the morning.

Yep. We stayed there last Oct because of the great fall special. When we went in March we stayed at the CCI. We will stay at the CCI again, we probably wont stay PP anytime soon. The cost and the distance really make the CCI fit our needs better.
