Paradise Hotel

Uugh! I am missing it right now because my husband is watching football!

Oh, Melanie! You should have went with Scott. He would have picked you. I know that he is getting tired of Holly.

I wonder who Holly put down as her rival? Desiree and Amy were a for sure pick as her allies, but did you notice that they didn't show what she put on her card?

I just knew that Tara or Charla were goners this week.

And the hostess has another gold card in her hand again in the previews. Scary!

We are hooked on this show! It is so much more interesting than Big Brother 4, which has become a total bore. Great twists, but I'm afraid next week's will go against the Dave/Charla/Keith/Tara alliance.

I was so hoping that Melanie was going to choose Amy to go home with her! Although, I'm not sad to see Desiree go. I don't know what exactly happened to have her turn on Charla, but I don't think they have shown it. It's definitely getting interesting.

Here's a thought - what if thru process of elimination, it comes down to Keith, Tara, and Charla - then who will be the couple who wins the BIG(?) prize? And will there ever be an announcement on what the prize is?

OMG, the suspense is killing me! PLEASE tell me (in detail) what happenend last night. I missed it! TIA.

Not sure if I remember all the details but I'll try.....

A lot of talk about strategy and how to get off those they didn't like. The ladies had to cook lunch for the men. What a joke, I don't think any of them had ever been in a kitchen before.

Everyone had to write down who their 2 best allies were and the one they thought was their biggest threat. Both Charla and Tara thought they were toast and sadly enough thought Melanie was their other ally.

Came time to pick a partner....
Desiree chose Tom
Amy chose Beau
Holly chose Scott
Melanie chose Dave
Charla chose Dave
Tara chose Keith

Dave chose Charla over Melanie, which pissed off Mel.

Amanda announced that the twist was that Melanie wasn't the only lady going home. She asked who her "enemy" was and she said Charla, who was shocked. Mel told her it was because she kicked her off the first week
Then Amanda asked who she chose as her 2 allies and she said Amy and Desiree. She was then told that she would be choosing one of her allies to go home too.

Desiree hesitated only a second and then said I will make it easy for you. Amy said "no, let her choose" and Des (her voice cracking in emotion  ) said "no, you deserve to stay" (WHY does everyone think Amy deserves to stay? I sure don't. Anyway Des and Mel went to pack and now there are more men than women, so expect a similar night on Wed. since the show is almost over.

Anyone else wonder what the "Ultimate" prize is? For me, it would be to own the hotel!!!!!! ;)

Hope that helped!

CC, I was just saying the same thing about Amy to a friend at work. Two women have voluntarily left so that she could stay, and I have no idea why people like her so much. Of course it seems as if those people really liked Toni too, and I find that really hard to believe. How could anyone stand to be around Toni for more than two minutes? Just looking at her (and Amy) makes me feel sick. There are so many things going on there that we don’t see, I guess we really have no idea what those people are really like. It’s edited to only show the drama.

Pugsley, what I found hysterical about Toni was her martyrdom when she left "I would take a bullet for you, baby girl" she said tearfully to a woman she had known for 6 weeks??????   huh??

Makes for good drama though I guess. :)

I really enjoyed last nights show. First of all, haven't these girls ever cooked before. The food looked gross and Amy kept licking her fingers and the spoon, YUCK. I wonder if Keith knew how lucky he was to have PB&J.
I was nervous for Charla and Tara during the elimination part. I never expected Melanie to have to chose between her allies. That was so great. I don't like Desiree or Amy so I really enjoyed that. Wish they both got the boot.
I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow night. :D

The reason they think Amy should stay is because she has been there since the beginning. As if that qualifies her. Every time you turn around she talks about leaving and tried to do so once. The only reason she does stay is because she is out to get Keith for sending her darling Zack home. And if I heard Melanie correctly last night, she was going to choose Desiree for just that reason, that she has been there since the beginning and deserves to win.

I "briefly" thought that Dave was going to choose Melanie over Charla last night. Especially after her telling him that if he had to send her home it would be okay.

Do you think that the "twist" will be the same?

I felt sorry for Tom last night. I truly think that he liked Desiree. I found it odd that she didn't go over and hug him before she left. While he doesn't like Dave, he'll do whatever it takes to win, even if it means turning on Scott and Beau.

So, what did everyone think about last night (Wed)'s episode? I think Dave messed up by sending Beau home, after he had said (in a roundabout way) that he wouldn't. Now "the other side" will just keep harping on that fact. He would have done better to send Scott home. Even though I think Scott is a more decent person and don't mind him being there, I think he is more dangerous. Oh, well! At least the "nice people" have ashot again.
If they do the same thing next week, the outcome is fairly obvious: Tara picks Keith, Charla picks Dave, Holly and Amy both pick Scott and Scott has to choose between the two. But then who else goes home?????? We'll have to watch to find out!

I can't wait :D
My heart went out to Tom last night when he was crying about his Grandfather.I thought Dave was a goner for a minute there. Things seem to be looking good for Keith, Dave, Charla and Tara. I don't like Amy and now she really doesn't have anyone, just Scott and Holly and they don't seem that close.

Well, Charla predicts Amy will win. And Dave just can't give up on Charla. He has high hopes and has it bad for her. I wonder what would happen if he didn't choose her for a change. They are going to have to throw in a twist somewhere because this is becoming too predictable. I think that they should have told the guys that they couldn't pick the same girl to room with. That would have livened things up. I mean, it was obvious that Tom was going home. And who would he pick to take with him? Dave, of course. And who would Dave pick? Beau. And as for Beau getting upset, Dave never said that he wouldn't take him out again. If you really listen to what he said, he said he would never vote with the group again. I believe that there were issues between them that they didn't show. Beau has not really been very nice to Dave since he came back.

I really hope we watch Amy take a walk on Monday! With her luck, though, Scott would dump Holly to take Amy because she deserves to win so much  .

Glad to see Dave and Keith stay but I was a little sad to see Tom leave. He was beginning to grow on me.

It was so funny when the tarot card reader told Charla she was on a higher level than everyone else :D ! I'm sure Amy just LOVED that one.

Can't wait to see what happens next week! Hopefully, Amy will be the only one evicted and the three final couples will have to compete in some way for the final prize.

***REMINDER*** The show will be on Tuesday next week for 2 hours starting at 8e/7c. Don't want anyone to miss it because they though it was on a different night!

On the previews, they said that next week will be the final roommate selections. That tells me that Amy is going home and that might be why Dave took out Beau instead of Scott. Let's face it Dave won't pick Amy over Charla, no way will Keith pick Amy over Tara and I think Scott would stick with Holly - I mean he was attracted to Melanie and wouldn't pick her, so why would he pick Amy. I have no idea how they are going to end this thing, but I have the feeling that since the whole premise and prize has never really been spelled out that the producers have just be making up rules as they go along to have the couple they think should win. I don't think that the show is entirely rigged because not everything can be predicted, but I think the producers plan it so that the people they want off will go. Like Monday, Melanie had to pick an ally to go home with her and last night, Tom's selection got to chose who went home. Some of the vote offs have been very predicatable and if we can figure it out, the producers who see EVERYTHING surely can. Still like watching though! At this point, as long as Amy doesn't win I'll be happy!

Alcapolco (sp?), Mexico. It was some prince's private retreat or something. I did a search one time and it brought up some interesting information on it.

I really like this show too. It is what they call a guilty pleasure.. ;)

The hotel is actually located in Acapulco Mexico and is called Villa Arabesque. I can't find the link to the actual hotel's website. It was posted numerous times on the Paradise Hotel forum on Fox's website, but they tend to remove the link. I did find this link though for what appears to be a banquet planner who uses the hotel....

It has some pictures of the resort.

I also have to agree with the majority here. Amy is gross. Watching her eat last night was disgusting and last week when she was talking with her mouth full of Guacamole, eww!! She and Zack deserve each other!

Yeah!!!!! Amy is gone!!!!!!
:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Who do you think Keith will kick off? At this point it really doesn't matter, as the last two couples will be competing against each other, no matter what. Even though he is P.O.d at Dave (and rightly so), I don't think he will kick them off. He seems too decent, which is why I want him to win. Plus, Tara has said she won't kick off Charla and I don't think he'll go against her. So, Bu-
Bye Scott and Holly, and we're down to the (formerly) nice people, although I wouldn't put Dave in that category now. Come on, guys, nobody wants to talk about PH?
