Hi all

As a first time visitor I appreciate all the help and comments I'm receiving!

My next question is about parades. My printer is churning out reams of paper showing parade times that I've found on the disney website. Any pointers on this??
Best parades to see?
Best viewing point?
Is there anywhere good to eat whilst the parades are going by or are you likely to not see anything if you're inside. I just cannot imagine what this experience is going to be like......

Any parade ideas greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to remember when you are going ?

What parades have you been attracted too :goodvibes

In my opinion, there aren't that many parades, so I would catch them all, since they are all great! I mean, it's not like you will ONLY watch parades if you catch them all.
They also don't last for hours, so IMO, eating inside while watching a parade is... well.... you won't have a great view. Try to find a spot at the beginning of the parade, in that way, when the parade passed you, you can go on rides while most of the other people are still watching it!

when we go, we watch the parade on a weekday as it is quieter and you don't have to start waiting really early to get a good spot. then at the weekend when it is busy we use the time that people are watching the parade to do some of the more popular rides at fantasyland such as dumbo. we usually go DLP Thursday to Monday.

I noticed when we went on its a small world while the parade was on that some people were watching from up the bit that you walk to the line area and we commented that it was a good spot as it was right where the parade comes out and they were already in fantsyland ready for rides when the parade had passed.

we ate in walts and had a table right next to a window and it would of given a good view of the parade however I don't think it will be as good as watching the parade from the crowd.

If planning on taking losts of photos then the best place for the parade is on Main st then you will get the castle in the background.

Another vote also for where it starts near its a small world. A really good view from up on the slope , then straight to the rides.

We watched the studios parade next to the flying carpets , good for autographs at the end :thumbsup2

We watched the park parade from the top of Main street nearest Plaza Gardens right on the street corner and from the corner of the castle stage (where you could have a seat too ).Both gave good views . We were there on weekdays though and it was quieter.

We've sat opposite the Winnie the Pooh stage, front row which I believe is normally reserved for children but the park was very quiet at the time.
Fantastic view plus nobody can push in front of you and little ones could always stand up on the stone benches for a better view. :)
