Parades and Fireworks in the rain?

I am at POFQ right now and it has been raining for hours....Does anyone know if they cancel parades and fireworks if it is raining?
We wanted to head out to see Spectro and Wishes but, don't want to go just to find that it is cancelled from the rain.

Guest services says that it really depends on how bad it is out when it is parade/fireworks time.

So..I figured I would check in with you guys and see if anyone had any experiences with them being cancelled.

Last year, around this time we were at the MK and the parade and fireworks were cancelled due to heavy rain.

We were at MK one night and it started raining hard a few minutes before Spectro was to start. They delayed it twice and then cancelled it. They did show the fireworks.

We were there this afternoon, & got totally soaked! The last time we were there in the rain they did cancel Spectro, & unless it let up some after we left I'm sure it must have been cancelled tonight, too. As for Wishes, proboaly wouldn't be able to do them tonight either, but I'm not sure about that. In the kind of rain we had today we don't stick around to find out!

Parades will be cancelled for rain, as the rain will ruin the costumes and wigs that the performers wear. Generally, however, the only thing that will cancell a fireworks show is lightning in the area, as there is a danger of lightning hitting a fireworks relay and causing a misfire. If the rain is torrential or the winds are high, fireworks would be cancelled as well. Winds could obviously be a safety problem and torrential rains would be a safety problem for the fireworks crews as well as a problem from a "guest enjoyment / show quality" standpoint.
