I checked the DL website and there is no info for January. Will there be parades and fireworks on the weekends? If so does that include Sunday night or only Friday and Sat. night? We would be arrive late afternoon on Saturday and am wondering if it is worth getting a view where we could see fireworks since DD five may not be up for doing so in the parks......

i also have been looking crazy for this info...i think i might call DL tomorrow to ask when the schedule will be up

thanks for checking, anyone else out there have any idea's???????

I expect that there won't be any fireworks, but that there will be the parades - one on the weekdays and two on the weekends, with the Block Party Bash continuing at DCA each day.

Remember.. Dreams Come True (fireworks) and Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams will more than likely be running every weekend in January.
Remember on Fri and Sat (at 9:25)

Parade of Dreams - at least 1 performance 7 days a week. Usually at 7:00. And more than likely 2 performances on Fri, Sat and Sun every weekend (at, I'm guessing, 3:15 and 7:00)

If you are visiting at the very beginning of January, more than likely the 50th Fireworks Show will be running every night of the week (and with it's additional Holiday magic), and the Christmas Fantasy Parade will also be performed once or twice a day at Disneyland, in addition to the one or two Parade of Dreams performances.

Just guesses though. Not confirmed by Disney.
And as always... hours, shows and parade times subject to change without notice from any one or any mouse... ;)

Is it worth it getting a room view for Remember... Dreams Come True if you can't be in the parks? Definitely.
But if one has the choice... Remember is not to be missed.. from Main St or in front of the Castle. :cool1:

We just got back. And the fireworks were Sat and Fri only! My DH missed them on the first Sat so the rest of us watched from our hotel room- a very good view. And then Fri- the day before we left we stood on main street to watch. One piece of advice if you stand on Main street stand to the right as you look at the fireworks we were on the left and my 10 year old couldn't see very well. They are soooooooooooo worth being in the park. It was cool from afar but so much better where you can hear the music to go with it. My DH gave me a hug after and thanked me for making him stand and watch.

the schedule is up!!!! go check it out! -- but anyone notice the lack of block party bash showings!?! wonder why...

thanks, I checked last night and it was not up, but now it is, Yeah.....
finally made our reservations I am so excited.
