Parade of Choice?

I'm in the midst of planning a solo trip this fall (nothing set in stone just yet, since my employers are not fans of approving leave time in advance), and I had a question to pose to all of you fine folks.

I've never really paid much attention to Disney parades. I find parade time to be an excellent time to sneak in a few more rides while lines are short! I happened to see a parade going through via the live video feed at Magic Kingdom last night for the 24 hour party. It was about 1AM, and I may just have been tired after work, but it occurred to me that I've never sat and watched one of these parades and it looked like fun. I think I'd like to give it a shot.

If you were to choose just one Disney parade to watch (at any of the WDW parks), which would it be?

Main Street Electrical Parade.
It's just so so fantastic, the music is great and the whole thing is a great spectacle.

However,
I also really love Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. It's so crafted, all the puppets are amazing and totally worth it.

And Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade is really great too, I'd rank it as my 3rd favorite.

at one a.m. was the Main Street Electrical Parade. Its beautiful and magical. Apparently though there are lots of peeps here who like the "signature" parades. . .MNSSHP Parade and the MVMCHP Parade. For those grammar queens out there, I realize saying "parade" as a whole word is redundant, it gets the point across. Now just be positive and let this person know which parade do you love.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

I'd heard that the Jammin' Jungle Parade was a good one, but it seems that the MK Electrical Parade might be the way to go. Who knows, I may stop to watch both! The way things are panning out at the moment, I doubt I'll be able to see the special event type parades that happen in the fall and winter. Maybe next time.

Like I said, it only just struck me that I still haven't watched any Disney parades, which I'm sure are better than most others. Then again, I'm not traveling with children, so I wasn't sure if it was something that would appeal to an adult. (I look like an adult... I don't always act like one... hehe)

I knew this was the right place to look for help!

If you have more suggestions for a first-time parade-goer, I'd be happy to hear them.

Thanks, again!

MSEP is my all-time favorite. It's seriously the most magical thing, it takes my breath away every time! And the music will get stuck in your head for days....whether that's a pro or con is up to you ;)
My best tip is if you're going to watch, try to go for it on a night when there are two parades showing (usually 9p and 11p). That way you can use the first one to squeeze in some rides with low wait times like you mentioned, and then watch the later one with MUCH lower crowd levels. it's a win-win! My favorite place to watch is Frontierland for the 11p one - it's a ghost town over there. Either way, I hope you enjoy! :)

MSEP is my favorite.

i would have to go with Main Street Electrical Parade by far my favorite Parade the song always sticks to my head while i am at work.

I am honestly surprised that MSEP is the consensus. My personal feeling is that this is my least favourite. I'm just not a fan, personally, of the music, and much preferred "Celebrate a Dream Come True" as it felt more uplifting and 'fun'.:cheer2: (The Mickey and Minnie float is my phone screensaver!)

What can I say, I must just be strange. Oh well, I knew that already... :rotfl:

I'm not a parade person, I'd much rather use that time on attractions, but Mickey's Boo-to-You parade during MNSSHP is not to be missed. If you're there for the party, I highly recommend watching the parade (2nd parade is generally less crowded than the first).

Mickey's Jammin Jungle parade in AK has always been my favorite, and now that I hear rumors that it may end in a couple years, I wouldn't miss it!

MSEP is far and away my favorite. We got perfect seats for it while we were at MK on a one day port adventure on the Disney Magic in March - I had the time of my life. The weather was perfect, I had an awesome view and it was just a very magical night.
