Parade at Epcot?

I was hearing rumors off and on that there would be a new parade in epcot starting around october.... I havnt heard anything lately so i am guessing nothing is going to happen in the near future, but does anyone know of any plans for epcot to once again have a parade?

I wish they would, but I doubt that will happen.

Too many problems with the very LONG and somewhat narrow walkway around WS.

We really missed the milennium parade on our last trip! It was the best parade, with great music, interaction, etc!

There are MANY of us here that loved that parade (both versions).

Its been discussed here a dozen times, at least.
At one point several of us decided the solution to the over-crowded walkways was to have a "floating parade" where the parade entries where on barges in the WS Lagoon (the parade floats would be FLOATING).

Where did you hear this?! I think this one would be all over the boards if it were true.

Where did you hear about that? I phoned the CM to book meals etc, and I asked about the parade at Epcot for their celbration year in 07.
She said there wasnt any parade planned! Mind you I know some times each CM has different info.
I HOPE you are right, it would be amazing!!!

(6/16/06) Sources tell us that Epcot is now planning a new parade to fit into the new Years of a Million Dreams celebration. At this time I don’t know if it will start in the fall with the celebration or wait for the busy holiday season. This fits in with rumors earlier this year about a “Tapestry 3” project that was said to be in the works.
