Panoramagique Balloon taken down temporarily

I've just read here that this (and the one at WDW) has been taken down for inspection after an accident with a similar balloon in Hong Kong.

Gutted as I am dying to try it out, infact it was one of my must do things. However, safety first.

I don't go on this, but it is one of my most favourite sights in all Disney . I completely understand there are safety concerns......but i so wish they could leave it as a visual

I hope those people in Hong Kong weren't hurt seriously?

We were on the balloon last Monday evening, the 25th, i did wonder why a few days later that it wasnt active, it seemed really odd as the weather was lovely with no wind, now i know why.

That's good to hear ..... but I also hope it returns. It's a lovely sight to see over the lake.
