YUMMMM has anyone tried this yet? Its from Trident Seafoods, the company my brother works for, and he raved about it so much that I had to try it. This is easily the BEST fish Ive had since I left Alaska!

It is so good! Not "fishy" at all. Just a mild fish flavour and the Panko is delicious on it!

So anyone else have a new find they want to share?

Can I ask what "panko" is? :confused3

I use a cornmeal fish fry coating when i pan fry our fish, and never heard this term.

Bourbon chicken. It is so good. I need to get another Costco membership just for this stuff.

Panko is Japanese bread crumbs, they stay crispier longer and has larger crumbs.

Bourbon Chicken yummmmmmmm

from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panko

Panko is a variety of breadcrumb used in Japanese cuisine as a crunchy, flaky coating for fried foods. Panko is made from wheat bread, but has a crisper, airier texture than most types of breading found in Western cuisine. Outside Japan, it is becoming more popular for use in Asian and non-Asian dishes, and is often available in Asian markets or specialty stores.

In Japanese, panko (パン粉) refers to all types of breadcrumb, not just the flaky variety used for frying.

now I want some. As usual Binny is causing trouble. ;) :lmao:
