Pandora to open early to AP holders

Gold Passes are blocked beginning April 8th, so I guess that won't work for a lot of folks.

DVC preview in May!! Just got the invite and signed up :teeth: I never seem to have a trip scheduled for any of the special events, so I'm really excited that we will be there to take advantage of this!

AP is in May as well sames as DVC just later in the day. We signed up for the Saturday and are trying to see if a 1 day trip from NY is worth it to us. We were going to do a quick trip later in the summer just for pandora anyways so this may be the exact thing we needed.

What are crowds like during this passholder previews?

DVC & Passholder Previews are scheduled for May 13 to May 22.

The DVC Preview requires an on-site room reservation. Any guests must be listed on your room reservation. There is only one time slot per day.
The AP Preview offers three time slots per day. You can register guests, but they must be passholders and be listed in your MDE family & friends list.

Haha you beat me to it :P

Currently registration is open for 15-22th of may. No april dates.

Every preview is for 2 hours.

if you would like to bring guests, the guest also need to be an AP holder.

You can register online here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/verify?CMP=EMC-WDWFY17Q2PHPANDORAEM0001

This system is going to handle the crowds really well. I tried to get a 2nd one under my AP and it was like nope someone in your party already registered. Previously it would never put 2 and 2 together but MDE is definitely doing its job on that front.

(I was not going to take a 2nd slot just wanted to test if it was possible)

I only have a gold annual pass, so I'm assuming I wouldn't qualify for that preview. DVC also allows for guests along with the member... wasn't sure that would be true for annual pass holder preview.

With Pandora set to open later in May, I was thinking we would miss it... so excited that this opportunity is available. That being said, I don't think I wold make a special trip for it, but that's me. I'm in New Jersey, so trips are more complicated to organize... and I'll be there again in July, so I had just assumed I would fast pass it at that point.

I'm thinking the DVC preview will be less crowded than the pass holder but that's just a guess.

AP allowed for guests but only if they were AP holders as well. Only 1 guest too. I'm not kidding that we might be booking our first 1 day trip. Get in at 8 am and fly back out at 10pm. Thankfully we have airmiles so it is just a do we really want to do it discussion.

Was curious whether gold annual passes would work, so I went ahead and signed up for a slot in the afternoon. Since I am the only pass holder in the family, though, this preview time I will be going on my own.

You are one dedicated Disney fan!!

This is the only time we have ever remotely considered anything this extreme. Fiance is a massive Disney fan and we were going to go in early June for a quick trip just for Pandora since we are missing it by 1 month. When the preview came out suddenly it went from oh it would be nice we have the extra to do it to omg we should really do this haha.

The preview is not during a Gold Pass blockout period. Passholders can only bring other passholders. DVC Requires an on-site reservation and the member can only include guests that are listed on the room reservation.
