Flight of passage has the create your own avatar but that's the only part we have seen of either queue.Does the Flight of Passage or the Navi boat ride attraction have an interactive queue? I know in FoP they scan your body and create ur very own avatar. Just curious if they had games like space mountain or cool neat touches like 7DMT queue.
If it's done well and has good attractions I don't see why it wouldn't be worth it. The land itself has nothing to do with the sequels so why do they matter?Sooooooo - was all of this a good idea?

Could have been worse.... could have been "Ishtar Land".

I really don't think the sequels matter if the land is good on its own.I think the sequels matter a great deal for the relevance of this new "Pandora" land to the general public, especially youth. My kids (16, 13) have never seen Avatar. It means nothing to them. ...and it's waaaaay out of relevance to my everyday life...
I wouldn't be surprised if Cameron's intent is to let love for the new land actually create buzz and drive attendance to the movie sequels when they finally come out.
to answer all of your questionsIn 2009 I liked the movie. It was different visually. The story line was predictable. I think people will flock to see the new attraction that has had a lot of hype. It'll be interesting to see how well it's popularity holds after Star Wars Land opens. I think the troubles and continued delays of the sequels shouldn't be taking lightly. Things move fast today and if you can't hold they're attention, something else will.

Just to play devil's advocate a bit - have they seen Song of the South? Do they enjoy Splash Mountain?
Obviously an entire land is different thank just a ride but I think if the land is great and the rides are great people won't care much about what it is conected to.
