Panama Planning

I was confused about this as well, so some very kind folks on our cruise meets thread cleared it up for me. We will book at midnight on Sunday night- Monday morning.

Please come by the meets thread and say hi. It is a very fast moving thread, but hardly anyone reads every post. Just pop in when you can, we would love to share more info with you!

Sorry, I can't help you out with your other questions, though!

It used to be 12:00 AM west coast time, so those on the east coast had to stay up / wake up at 3:00 AM to get first crack at the excursions.

This has since been changed to 12:00 AM east coast so it makes it easier for us in the US, but now the UK has to be awake at 5:00 AM to book instead of 8:00 AM .

May 19th is 90 days out and that day official starts at 12:00 AM (duh) so you can start booking excursions, Palo, Spa, and Flounders on Sunday Night / Monday Morning so you may be up a little later than normal on Sunday night.

Yes, it is correct that west coasters are booking at 9:00 PM on Sunday night the 18th.

Oh well, it sure is hard to make everybody happy, but I think as a whole the new times work better for more folks.

Thanks, Deanna. I posted a bit on the cruise meet thread when it was first started, then I didn't have time to keep up with it.

Thanks, Belle. I have no problem with the time. I just needed to know if I should stay up late Sunday or Monday night. Appreciate the reply.

Think we in the uk are going to get the dreggs of what is left by the sound of it if we have to wait until Monday mornng. Will give it is go and if we cannot get booked will probably decide to do our own thing in most ports.

You don't have to wait, we are just discussing the different time zones and what time it actually is in different areas of the world. For example, for me it will be 11pm, for California people, it will be 9pm. :)

Only want to book a few excursions so will just try when I wake up.
Bren

Hopfully you will be ok, I think anything to do with Dolphins will go very fast, things with limited numbers such as the boat trips, beach trips etc.

You can of course try onboard.

I have Cabo, PV, and Aruba sorted already Acapulco I think I will do myself and wlak aorund. So its just Columbia.

Still trying to work out the quickest way on to the excursion booking site seem to find different ways everytime and even with wireless router and high
speed connection it does seem to take a long time whichever way you do it.

Yes its a problem whatever you do, High speed cable is the best.

Try and rub it why don't you.....he's canceled according to Deb's blog.

Yep he has, she said Concierge told her but other cruisers posted a full entertainment list first day, and he wasn't on that, so looks like her information was out of date or incorrect.

Too bad no Donny. He's a nice guy. His sister on the other hand...what a diva! :lmao: :rotfl: I can't wait to see the PC cam tomorrow.

Did you happen to catch the price of cat 6? I would love to know how it compairs to the price I got booking the first morning.

I know I priced one a couple days ago for 2A and 1C (8) and it came up around $9,500 without insurance or transfers.

Glad I booked early on day one.

2A 1C (14): $6,912.37

While checking, a Cat 9 popped up and was gone within 5 minutes, but by the time I finished checking the rates on the Cat 10, a Cat 4 popped up.

Looks like a few rooms are coming up as we get closer to the 90 day mark.

edited to add: within a couple of minutes of pricing this, there was no availability.

Laura checked on the numbers:

Confirmation passenger total: 2200, 500 which are kids.

Hopefully, they won't sell out the EB one as well.
