They do not have Officialy Disney busses, but if you read earlier in the thread, Greyline offers a Disneyland shuttle directly from the LA airport to any of the Disney Hotels. Read back and you will find the website. :)

No worries!!!!

Should add that this bus does not need to be full to go. It runs on a continous circuit with another one following in about 1/2hour. So, they just load the people at the stop and go. Depending on where you come out, will depend on how many other stops they make at the airport. Ticket processing usually goes fairly quickly as most people have a voucher from their TA or money ready.

Just checked nothing available - plugged in 2 Adults. My cabin is still GTY.

Did you see the numbers Laura posted? 2100 on board - 1800 repeat guests. Capacity is 2700.
I wonder if they are deliberately sailing with lower numbers due to length of the cruise?

Someone else posted 400-500 children on board.

I think she has the first number wrong, the ship is full, the 1800 repeat guests seems correct, it was 1750 for the 2005 E/bound,

Unless they add the kids 500 to the 2100 adults, that would make sense.

Laura would not mind me saying this, she is easily confused!

It is the Disneyland Express operated by Grayline and if you book on line which we did you get a couple of dollars off per person or we have from SNA airport.

No way...this is not fair

To whom? The people on the cruise? I agree. ;)

Sorry. Long time lurker, infrequent poster here. I'm on the waitlist for a suite and I'm hoping one opens over the next week. Cheers.

Bill

I am happy to say the "Panama Planning" part is finally over. :goodvibes

Palo - booked, Excursions - booked, return flight from Orlando - booked (I was slow to get this done) and that completes the planning.

It was 564 days, now just a mere 96. :cool1: Time to relax and impatiently wait for the Magical day. :rotfl2:

Good luck to all who will be booking in 6 days.

Andrew, I asked Laura to check on the numbers for us. She said a lot of the cabins only have 2 cruisers.

Just read on Debs blog that Donny cancelled and they are getting Joey Fatone instead.

Sure, rub it in! :lmao: Just kidding....congrats on getting everything booked and can't wait til we can say the same thing. We don't plan to do Palo, so just need to book a few excursions and we'll be "ready" for August!!

We have always flown into Orlando and sailed out of Pt. Canaveral, but we'll be flying into LAX on Saturday August 16th for the EB Panama Canal cruise the following day. Since we willl be staying overnight near LAX and have purchased Disney transfers, I am planning on getting ourselves and our luggage back to the airport on embarkation morning in order to get on the bus to the port, right?

Is there a schedule out yet showing when the busses start leaving for the port? Is it about 10am as in Orlando?

Where at LAX do they load the busses?

Would you recommend renting a car overnight, or staying at a hotel that has an airport shuttle?

Thanks for any suggestions.

When we last cruised, online booking started at 3am ET. We live in the Eastern time zone, so it was easy to tell on which day the Magic 3am time hit.

Now, I understand that online booking opens at 12 Midnight ET. How does someone in the Eastern time zone know whether that is the Midnight that comes at the end of the 105/90/75 day mark or the Midnight that comes early in the morning of that day? I know that technically, Midnight starts a new day, but since those in other time zones would still be on the previous day, that logic seems wrong in this case. Can someone please clear this up for me? Thanks.

I was confused about this as well, so some very kind folks on our cruise meets thread cleared it up for me. We will book at midnight on Sunday night- Monday morning.

Please come by the meets thread and say hi. It is a very fast moving thread, but hardly anyone reads every post. Just pop in when you can, we would love to share more info with you!

Sorry, I can't help you out with your other questions, though!
