Panama Canal Eastbound Sept. 14, 2013--it'll be WONDER-ful

Actually, I'm more tempted to take the Carnival Magic to Belize. It sails the same day we pull in to port. I would love that itinerary. Wish Disney was doing it.

Belize - yes - Carnival - no thank you - although that is a very nice ship!

I would cruise Carnival, especially now that all of their ships are under such a microscope. But, the dog and cat will be demanding we come home as soon as we dock.

We have become so spoiled, too many DCL trips, nothing else compares. We have done Carnival, Louis, NCL, American, and RCL just this January, will never do another NCL. Looking at Oceania for Tahiti. Certainly will do any central and south america that DCL would offer.

You're right! It is so hard to sail anyone else after Disney. I love their service, attention to detail, no hidden charges and cleanliness.

I am looking forward to the Southern Caribbean itenerary that Disney has added that leave from Puerto Rico. I hope they continue that in 2015 since I already have a big 2014 cruise in April and I have not decided if I could do the Oct 2014 which they have scheduled right now. So many decisions, so little time (and money)!!!

Can't seem to find it to even ask to get on.

Friend me, Renee Yousey Latta, and I can add you. Just let me know your name on Facebook so I will know it is you.

Renee, thanks, I'm on.

You're welcome! FB is even less active than our DIS page! Hopefully our late arrivals will be active!

We can hope. I think those of us in the Midwest are just plain tired of winter and are finding it hard to believe that September will ever come. :-(

It is warm out here at DL but the locals all seen to be bundled up in the evening. You can spot the northerners a block away we are either ghostly white or sunburn, too funny.

Hi all,

Booked this cruise a couple of months ago and just found this thread. Hope to meet you all on the ship. DW(Lisa), DD (Savanna, will be 23 mos. at cruise) and I (Todd) love meeting people on the ship.

Our last cruise we upgraded to veranda when we checked in, I am hoping, hoping, hoping that we can do it this time also. Hate to be stuck in an inside stateroom for the whole 14 days.

Has anybody had experience with "Babies Travel Lite"? They appear to be a company that will have baby supplies delivered directly to your stateroom. Last cruise we had one suitcase dedicated for baby food and diapers

I have not used them - but have heard good things from others about them. Wish it was an option when mine were infants!

Sorry, folks, but today we cancelled this cruise. That means the wine tasting in the Walt Disney Suite will have to be taken over by the lucky guest who books the cabin that we've now vacated!

We did book the same sailing for September 2014 in the same suite, so if anyone goes on that Panama Canal cruise as well, maybe we'll see you then! But for a whole variety of reasons we decided to spend a couple of weeks at Aulani again this September rather than take this cruise. We hope you all have a wonderful sailing, and will tip a tropical beverage in the direction of San Pedro on embarkation day!
