Welcome Mark and family. I think I read a trip report you wrote a while back, but you had a different dog. Shadow, I think, I know it was dark, not white. But anyway, a good looking dog you have. I don't get to bring my babies on the cruise. We have two little maltese. Needless to say they are king and queen of the house!!!

Also welcome to the other new cruisers. Let me know if you want to be included in the FE/Postcard list. Look forward to getting to know each of you til we sail!

Welcome Iceman93, sign me up for wine tasting! Can't wait to see the suite. Very generous of you to let us all get a peek.

You're quite welcome! I'm glad to see that folks are already getting into the "spirit" of things! Local wines are always fun, especially from places that aren't known for wine. It sounds like we've got a great group on this sailing, so it really should be a blast.

As to the additional information in the roll call, it will be me (Rick-40), my wife (Jennifer-41), our dauughter (Josselyn-9), and our au pair (unknown at this point because it will be a new one from who we have now). We have late dining and are silver members, as this will only be our second Disney cruise. Bingo's definitely got us beat for Castaway Club benefits! :D

Welcome to the new PC cruisers! Looks like Bingo is a Gold CC member!

Softball is done for the season. We finished on Friday. Now 4-H is really gearing up as we get prepared for judging and fair.

Yes, He will be a Gold CC member. My retried dog was a Platinum member.

Is it ok to be happy for rain :cool1:

While we are not experiencing the drought so many others are, we have been pretty dry. Rained most of the night and still going, grass is smiling :jumping1:

You go right ahead and rejoice! I live in Louisiana and we were hit extremely hard by the drought last year. Now, every time it rains we are so happy!

It is amazing how quickly the grass and other plants recover. The trees take a bit longer.

Denise and I thought we would post this picture of us and our DH's boarding the Dream. It is Steve and Denise, Mommaluvsdis and Doug and Carol, Pahrumpgirl. We thought it would be nice if we could all do this and then we would know what we looked like before getting on the ship. :thumbsup2

Haven't gotten ours yet. Don't know what it means. Will have to look at my 2008 to see what it said.

Ok, hope this pic shows up for all of you. This was taken on the 10/1/11 Magic, when Dave, Carla and I cruised. Looking at the pic, I am on the right, Carla is on the other side of Minnie. We were headed to deck 4 near Shutters when we encountered Minnie - just before brunch at Palo.

Oh-oh photo is cropped. Will try to repost with Dave and Carla in the photo.

We haven't received confirmation as you have have. Interesting. Wish Castaway Cay was on the itinerary! Or even Key West.

Jan

Our original confirmation shows Canal on Sunday and At Sea on Sat, it was a little strange to be getting this now.

As long as I am on the Wonder going through the Panama Canal, I am happy!!!:thumbsup2 After so many days on the ship, I won't know what day it is anyway!

Anyone on this thread on the Wonder for the Vancouver-LA cruise?

We are heading to northern Michigan tomorrow for a firm retreat - well really the first ever firm retreat.

Then my West Virginia grandkids and their mom will be here on Tuesday and we plan to have lots of family time with all six grandkids.

Happy Saturday!

Jan

Thanks for posting the pictures! Yes, that does help. I'll try to post one of us.

I have not gotten an email with the two-day canal listing. Hmmmm.

I think I'm up to date with the roll call. If I have missed you, please PM.:cheer2:

Just bumping this up.

DD has her 4-H judging today. She is getting 2 projects judged.

She had tryouts last night for a travel softball team. She has more tryouts on Saturday.

We have been watching the olympics a lot as well.

Isn't it a little late to start softball ? Snow could start to fly in another 10 weeks. Traveling teams out of Ohio are a great time, I played on a hockey team out of Columbus back in the day. :drive:

The tryouts for the traveling softball teams are for next year's teams and maybe some indoor winter ball. We haven't heard any thing yet from the teams she tried out for. We have more tryouts coming up this week.

Kaleigh did get A+'s on both of her 4-H projects. Yeah! Fair week starts Saturday.

Must be the County Fair, right ? Our State Fair starts in 10 days and they are telling the kids they are going to test their pigs before displaying. Word is Ohio and Indiana saw a large number of swine flue cases and they want to take precautions here. Someone said this morning they may prohibit public contact, seems like overkill though.
