what's the best rate you every gotten at the pan pacific ? How for out did you book? Who did you book through? Any tips on getting the best deals? Tia

I booked about 11 months out using their AAA rate. I booked directly with the hotel. I was able to average about $200 a night.

Yeah ... no matter how big a discount you get, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone getting in there for less than $200 a night.

I was able to get it for $176 a night (for two nights) last year. I used Hotwire. I booked it in January for our August cruise.

I booked 11 months out via Hotwire at CAD $217/night without taxes (the name hidden bids). I think it was less than USD $200 a night at that time, maybe around $180. A few weeks later, Hotwire allowed bidders to pick bed configuration. Too bad I had already booked my room. I would give up bed configuration (only DD and myself) and view for a low price and location. I will be out the whole day sightseeing anyways and I can enjoy the view at the lounge or pool deck. I booked in May using hotwire, got a $25.00 off coupon for using the hotwire app. for our August 2014 cruise. We paid $170.00 plus tax. When we arrived we were upgraded to a club level suite with views of the harbor from the master and city views from the living room. A wonderful way to start our trip.

It's great to know that Hotwire rooms can be good rooms and may get upgraded like regular booking. I did take advantage of the $20 off promo at the time as well. Look forward to seeing my room at Pan Pacific in August.

I booked our late July 23-16 2011 stay at the Pan on May 21, 2011 through Hotwire for $142 per night. We ended up with a room directly over the Wonder when she pulled into port.

I have 2 nights booked before our Hawaii cruise. 240.00 tax included. I booked through last minute travel. It's refundable if I get a better rate on hotwire before then I can cancel.

$214/n including tax for our August trip this year. I booked in Oct 2014 using Last Minute Travel and was told that I had a great rate when I called to double check the gov rate.
