Please be advised that Pan Am may be, and I repeat MAY BE declaring bankruptcy. I flew with PanAm last Sept going to Florida a week after the world trade centre tragedy and never had a problem. I spoke with my travel agent yesterday too book an upcoming trip and they claim they are experiencing utter chaos in trying to deal with PanAm. According to them, one gentleman paid for his flight up front to the travel agency who wired it to PanAm who has admitted to receiving the money, but hasn't issued a confirmation number to the travel agency. Without a confirmation number he has no reservation. The travel agent said that it has been absolutely horrible getting any information out of them. So just beware, if you call to make a reservation, just be careful.
