Both mid 20s and going with no kids

couldn't really find a menu online for remy but we done palo on the magic once

Can u get the soufflé in palo at lunch still ?

Not to sure what one to pick and if it's best at lunch or dinner

I thought they were both the same price but looked online palo is $30 and remy is $85, god what a difference lol is remy really worth that

Anyway any advice would be great :)

We do both each cruise--Remy is much better. Palo is more of an upscale Italian while Remy is upscale in every respect.

Can't help with any lunch questions---

I think it kind of depends on your palate/preferences. Remy is exquisite-the service, food, atmosphere. It is truly a fine dining experience...and that said, prepare for a looong meal versus a quick dinner (I think we were there for about 3 hours). DH and I did Remy once, on our honeymoon cruise, and while it was nice we were quite full and in the end, don't appreciate gourmet food enough to invest that kind of time/money. Obviously other people will have different opinions so it's really up to what you and your spouse enjoy. We usually do Palo once a cruise and half our cruises do brunch and the other half dinner (this is just based on how hungry I am when I'm booking adult dining months out ;) ).

We love Remy and it is totally worth the cost. However, it is fine dinning. That means food on the menu you may not be use to, flavor profiles you may not be us to, and a long dinner. So if you don't like fine dinning or aren't use to it then it may not be for you. Remy works with "dueling" menus so to speak. A French menu and an American offering. On both you can substitute dishes form the other or the a la carte offerings. You can also just order a la carte. The final course is my favorite. So many different and wonderful cheeses. Yum. Remy is formal in dress. My fiance does not feel comfortable in less then a jacket and tie and his nice dress pants. I wear one of my more formal dresses.

Palo is great as well. Palo is an Italian restaurant in an nice environment. There are a mix of wonderful dishes and then amazing desserts. If you aren't an adventurous eater I would say Palo is the safer bet. Also Palo is nice but not as fancy as Remy. My fiance feels perfectly acceptable eating in a button up and slacks at Palo and myself in a nice but not too formal dress.

"Best" is in the eye of the beholder.

Personally, I like Palo brunch over dinner. I've not done Remy as it's too pricey for me.

If you're asking about the chocolate souffle in Palo, that's only on the dinner menu.

Palo Brunch is bar far the best to me....
I enjoy dinner there as well and do it at least once a cruise.
We have done Remy dinner and enjoyed a lot, they also have a very nice brunch and a dessert experience that we did in 2014, definitely worth a try.

Trying to identify one of these as "best" is very difficult for us. They really are two different experiences, with different price tags. Of course your individual taste will govern which food you enjoyed the best. Even the service experience is different between the two restaurants.

Although its a bit dated now, I did a review of Palo and Remy for FoodieTales. You can find the link in my sig below.

Palo brunch is a nice way to escape the "younger generation" but we've had brunches just as elegant on Celebrity cruises without the upcharge.

Remy is in a class by itself. DH balked at the expen$e til I told him to just think of it as a shore excursion. Not something we'd do every cruise, but it's fun for something different. The service is unsurpassed. For example, I wore a black dress and the waiter insisted on changing my white napkin for a dark one so I wouldn't get white lint on my dress.

For those who think Remy is too posh and expensive, at least stick your nose in the door of the restroom just outside the restaurant. Amazing.

Both are great experiences and meals, but oh so different. As has been said, Palo is Italian and Remy is French. If you know that you do mot like French food, then you would most likely not like Remy. If you like really awesome and creative food then you should try it at least once. Palo recently changed their menu and we skipped dinner and just did brunch because the new one did not appeal to us on our last cruise. Also, no chocolate souffle at brunch. We have done both brunch and multiple dinners at Remy and loved every minute and every bite. I would recommend brunch at Remy if it is available on your cruise as it is cheaper than dinner and just as amazing. Either way, enjoy your cruise!

I thought Palo and Remy share the same bathroom as the lounge that is there between the elevator and check in for both restaurants.

Hmmmmm am thinking mybe to stick with palo. Can't say am a big fan or French food

It isn't all just French food. I had venison at on of my cruises. The menu is actually split between traditional French and then some just fancier American entrees. Still has steak and potatoes. I just don't want people to think it is all French. The menu is half form the 3 Michelin star Chef Arnaud Lallement and the other half is from the award winning Chef Scott Hunnel from Victoria and Alberts. The portion by Chef Hunnel aren't too crazy.

The menu does change from time to time (usually seasonal I believe) so it is always hard to say what exactly you might get.

You'll be fine either way you go haha. I would go with Palo dinner since you directly brought up the souffle and then next time you cruise go for Remy. It'll just give you a reason to go again.

What do you mean by the "younger generation"?
