Actually, ties in Palo haven't been required for some time. But have been suggested.
"Men: Dress pants, shirt and jacket or tie"

I noticed this on my recent B2B. I was pleasantly surprised. We can hope. I will say that it seems to me most people still dress up a little for the MDRs even though everything short of swimwear is permitted. So maybe people will still dress up for Palo. I know I will.
The interpretation of "good condition" is going to vary widely. Ugh, Disney.
Is Remy still formal or are they changing too?
Were you on the Magic? If so, sorry we missed you. My DH was one of those at Palo brunch with no tie. He forgot to pack the 2 beautiful Disney ties I bought him last cruise, and given he only wears ties to weddings, funerals, and Palo and formal / semi-formal night, we couldn't justify spending $35 or whatever it was onboard to buy another one.We saw a few men without Ties last week.
I guess ties are no longer reqiured.

Many people on the red carpets don't look like bums. Especially when designers make super nice jeans that are probably nicer than any dress pant. While disappointing, I think most Palo and Remy guests will still adhere to the dress code. Others will figure it out after looking like bums. Or so is my hope
