I am traveling with my sixteen year old daughter and would like to celebrate her birthday dinner at Palo. I was told it was for 18 and older. Do they check the ages of the diners? Do you think there is anyway we would be able to dine there for this special night?

This question would probably do better over on the cruise board. And you probably don't want to hear my answer!

I don't know if they check DOB for dinner reservations or not, but I just want to say that it is supposed to be for people (adults) 18 and over. If they let in a 16yo, where do they draw the line?

As adults traveling without children, you have no idea how much we appreciated being able to go to 'adult only' areas on the Magic.

You have to supply date of birth information for all passengers when you book the cruise, so they will know how she is. So there is now way to sneak her into Palos. I’ve read about others trying it with older teens (a month or two shy of their 18th birthday) and they were not served at Palo.

Nope, you can't take her in. They know the ages of everyone in your party. Anyone not of age is turned away. Frankly, it is an adult restaurant, and I wouldn't want kids in the restaurant, well behaved or not.

Well this was obviously moved here.
