Palms (Vacation Clubs) and World Center Access?

I just got off the phone with Marriott, asking questions about using our reward points for a possible stay at the Royal Palms. I, specifically, asked if staying at that vacation club location would allow us access to the new waterslides at the World Center and was told "no." I was told that since there is a pool at the Royal Palms, guests staying there do not have access to the World Center pool.

Has anyone been to any of the Palms recently and have first hand knowledge on World Center pool access?
