I think it depends on if you want the new features or not. The new one comes in a tuxedo, does say more things (although still says the things the old one does), and also has a special medallion on his hand. If you press this medallion, it activates special medallion pins that you can also buy. I think the new one also plays two more games in addition to the three the old one does. It just depends on whether you're curious enough or would enjoy seeing the new features enough to pay for another one, hehe.
