Pal Mickey

I have been seeing alot of references to " Pal Mickey" . Can someone please tell me what it is? Where do you get it? How much is it? and what do you do with it?

Pal Mickey is an interactive stuffed Mickey Mouse that you wear on a belt clip. Outside of the parks, he plays games and tells jokes, but inside the parks he is quite the tour guide! He shakes and says "Oh Gosh!" whenever he has something to say. He points out interesting things in each park, talks about height restrictions, tells jokes relevant to the park you're in, tells you when the parades are about to start and if there is a short wait on a ride! We love our Pal!! He was approximately $50 including tax--we bought him at Fulton's General Store at our resort POR, but you can get them at the parks as well. His jokes and games kept us entertained during bus rides and long lines, and even though we thought we were Disney veterans, he taught us a few things!! He is definitely worth the money--our favorite souvenir! Plus the park signals will constantly upgrade so we can bring him next year, too! I also heard that they are coming out with a Minnie!! Oh, BTW, you can rent him for about $8 a day, but you won't want to give him back! Have fun!!

I got Pal Mickey when I was in WDW in July and I absolutely loved him. He gives you lots of info and he is fun. I would definitely recomend getting one. You will not be sorry you did. One tip, make sure you turn him off at night or the batteries die real quick.

I also heard that they were thinking about making a minnie too. If they do, I plan to get that one next time.

My son has heard me telling DH all about him and keeps reminding us that he wants one once we get there. he sounds like lots of fun. I can hardly wait to play with him too

Pal Mickey is great! My wife got ours on my birthday, we did have some problems. We didn't get him wet or anything, he was just broke from the start. The first one didn't vibrate, the second one stopped telling jokes, but the third one works great! We exhanged #1 at a different store, but still in MGM where we bought him, the 2nd one was exchanged at the Boardwalk. He won't work on some attractions, at least the jokes won't work, but the games do. He's great, the belt clip worked just fine on my pocket or camera bag. Well worth the $50 IMO. Esp. coming off of Pirates, but I won't give away what he says to keep it a suprise.
