Pal Mickey?

We'll be at WDW with 3 DGC, and they are ages 1,2,3. Would getting 1 Pal Mickey be a disaster waiting to happen? Would we be better off without any if we could only buy 1? Of course I would still ask their parents, but do any of you have a good experience with 1 Pal Mickey and multiple children?

I think getting one and letting each child carry it during a portion of the trip...one in MK, MGM, etc may work out. However, I know how kids like to have their own of everything, lol!!

I would also like to hear opinions on Pal Mickey! We are thinking about getting one for our Nov trip!

When we went we rented one (but I dont think that is an option anymore). My girls were ages 8 and 11. They fought about who got to hold them etc. even tho we had said you'll carry it for so long, then the next so long is the others turn. I also found it is really hard to hear unless you are paying attention to it. Maybe if they are in a stroller it would be easier to hear it, but being on the hip or on a backpack its kinda hard.

I would say forgo it and splurge somewhere else. But thats just my opinion.

P.S. Since then both my girls have gotten them for bday presents and so they each have one. Only because someone had an awesome deal on them **its the old version** And they really are pretty cool. Im just not in the mood to open a can of worms if its not needed.

Hey they are only $60 each! Your kids will only be young once. When you get home and the Pal is thrown in the back of a closet, it will only be a matter of time until the batteries leak all over, destroying your $180 investment. At that time none of them will complain about Pal Mickey any longer. We have shelves of Mickey dolls and paraphernalia Disney. I got angry once and threw it all in the trash. Not to worry, though, my DW replaced it all with new! Now she is buying it for our grandsons as well.

Seriously, it is just something else to lug around the parks.
