I'm curious to know which would you do. Buy Pal Mickey or use the money for soveniors? I can do both, but would rather use the money for the more important..LOL it's all important, but you know what I mean...

65 for Pal Mickey or 65 for t-shirts or something else...love your opinions.

If you suggest Pal Mickey, should we pick him up first moment into the park? Can he hang okay from a lanyard on a click on the stroller? I was going to clip him to the stroller with a cabainer and tie a lanyard around him..lol

My opinion is that it depends on your family. We used one three years ago. The whole group, 5 adults and 2 kids, got a kick out of Mickey.

I invested in my own for our trip. I bought the Sorcerer version from E-bay. It went as an Easter present. My two boys, 7 and almost 4, have been playing with him since he arrived. I bought it knowing he will be used again by both myself and my sister's family. My 7 year old loves the jokes. My little one likes to hold him and do the songs with him. I just had to take him from their bedroom to put fresh batteries and pack for our trip.

As far as carrying him, I took the pager clip off and put on a carabiner. He will be hooked onto the Baggalini. We enjoy him, but only spend the money if you will carry him through the parks.

If you have time, consider a used one. That saved me about $25.

Personally I would say Pal Mickey cause he will last longer. I can not remember half the souvenirs I got on my last trip but always remember getting Pal Mickey a few years back ! :hippie:

I think I agree with that it depends on your family. We got PAL Mickey two years ago and I carried him but when we had to wait in a long line my daughter wanted to hear his jokes. Also if you get PAL Mickey bring along a 2 gallon ziploc and put him in it if it rains or you go on any water rides. He doesn't like to get wet! It rained while we were at Epcot and I could still hear him through the 2 gallon ziploc! He plays games too so he can still work outside the parks too! Hope you have a great time no matter what your decision!:goodvibes

Thanks. I think I will combine their grandma monies and have them get it for them. I think it's a great little guy!

We just bought a Pal Mickey on our trip a few weeks ago and abolutely loved it. We ended up using a carabiner clip which really worked a lot better then the belt clip. The zip-loc bag is also a great tip...wish we had read that one before the skies opened up at Epcot the day after we got him :lmao: . The only thing I would add is be sure to bring lots of extra batteries as the ones he came with died in less than a day.

What does he take? AA I'm guessing. All the batteries I have to bring!! :lmao: They are going to take one suitcase...

I haven't been to the parks yet with Pal Mickey but I knew DD and I would want one. Its sounds pretty cool plus it will keep her busy while in line for rides etc.
I surfed Ebay for a few days and got one for $45 including shipping and it was the latest model. Works great, we can't wait! :cool1:

I read this tip on these boards:
You could have taken it back to the store, or I guess any store, with your receipt and they would have given you new batteries.

Thanks for the tip...we didn't mind too much since we had brought our charger and rechargable batteries for him, figuring he'd go through them pretty quickly...we just recharged them each night and didn't have any problems :thumbsup2
