Pal Mickey (& Friends) Adventures & Fashions

He looks like a real hood keeping his face covered all the time the way he does!!! :lmao:

Oh I'm loving it... :yay: :yay: :yay:

Vicki, I can't tell you how much we are enjoying Mickey..... This is just so much fun.

And the Turtle Latte was the bomb!!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Wednesday dawned with MTM looking forward to coming to work with me. He knew the Seniors played Pinochle and Dominoes. So he dressed up with his Travels shirt and wanted to wear his visor with the sunglasses. He knew that on some channels poker games are shown and the cool players wear sunglasses.

Well he wanted to try his luck with Marisol who is our Senior Center Director. She is an amazing person and invited him to be her partner. He managed to win big.

Then some of the Ladies who were playing Dominoes dared him to try his hand.

More again tomorrow!!!

Well, Thursday morning started with rain, so I had to get the yellow slicker and hat. It is just too cute on MTM. Here he is at my desk.

Went downstairs to the Senior Center and the director, Marisol had her bird Buddy visiting the seniors. MTM wanted to see Buddy, so we got a picture of the two of them. Buddy and MTM are such hams :rotfl:

Had to introduce my two grandsons to MTM. Here is Nicholas who wanted to touch MTM but not hold him.

Caydh had just woke up from a nap so he at least agreed to let MTM sit by him.

Handsome grandsons with the handsome Pal! Buddy is cute too. Boy Tommy is meeting lots of new people and animals. It sounds like the senior center is a really happenin' kind of place!

Buddy just stays on her shoulder the whole time. Just squawks once in a while.

MTM heard that they have a good Bingo game on Tuesdays. :lmao:

Friday dawned with more threat of rain, so MTM kept his rain coat on but put on his crocs.
Here is a previous picture of MTM in front of the sign where we work.

Here he is with his Crocs on.

He was not sure of the threat of rain so he kept his coat on at lunch. This is one of our favorite restaurants. $4.95 lunch!!!

More again

Saturday I got up at 5 am to get ready for our neighborhood yard sale. A year ago I had two spaces at the big yard sale that the rec center sponsors and made about $120. Then when Marietta Days ( a big day of lots of craft booths and yard sales and celebrating at a few taverns in the town) came along, I had a table set up at my DD's house and for some little foot traffic we got I actually made about $30.
So I got up and started bringing things outside. DH even got up and was helping me. He set up the canopy for me so I was covered in case it rained, which it did. I ended up making about $50. Then when it was done, whatever was left, went in the car for goodwill.
Mickey wanted to help, so I made him the keeper of money.

MTM kept seeing the sign counting down the days until Sweet Corn, so I got his picture with it.

More again!!!!!

Oh such a tease. You are such a good story teller...

I think you should do the trip report!!!! :thumbsup2

On Saturday after the yard sale, I was hurting from walking around barefoot on the grass and driveway, so I took a nap. Went to bed early that night to get a good night's sleep to go out with Steffy so we could get pictures of MTM. I saw that it was going to rain off and on most of Sunday and was not too happy with that. But she and I had talked about meeting for breakfast and I know that is always fun. The phone rings Sunday at 10:30 and I answered and after talking about the rain, we decided to go to lunch. I get to Steffy's house and off we go in Miss Blueberry. Mickey is dressed in his crocs, raincoat and hat and I found a pair of sunglasses and he wore those. Well, we get to where we were going to have lunch and found out they are closed on Sundays. Steffy says she even looked at the brochure to see the time but did not check that it was closed :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Yeah, we have lived here in Lancaster County Me--28 years, Steffy a lot more :rotfl2: :rotfl2: . So we take a picture anyway.
MTM is at the bottom of the picture.

The next place is also closed :rotfl2:

MTM wanted to take a buggy ride, but of course, it was closed too :rotfl2: :lmao:

More again!!!

Monday dawned and I knew it was going to be an unusual day because I had forgotten to set my alarm but got up at 7:45 when my alarm usually goes off. MTM said his feet hurt from all the walking and picture taking so he wanted to wear his slippers. :rotfl:
I said ok and put his Eagles sweatshirt on. So at least he was comfortable.
For us at work, the day just kept getting more and more weird. We were all ready to pack it in at about 3pm but just kept plugging along until 5pm

Here is MTM in his usual spot. Now the seniors look for him every morning and asked where his raincoat was. I told them I kept him dry this morning.

Here are a few more pictures from Sunday:

Yes, the slippers were in his box but I hadn't seen them on him.

Tommy contacted me and has requested that he make his permanent home with Tinker1bell. He says that he loves me & my family for adopting him but thinks that Tinker1bell needs him more than we do since we have Nicky. He was very convincing that tinker1bell has a very loving home so I gave my blessing.

I am sitting here just in awe.
I promise that I will take very good of MTM.
Plus if there is anyone who needs a good hug from him, I would be willing to send him. I cannot believe how much fun I have had with him.
Yes Stephanie is sure that when I get home from visiting my sister in Marietta, Ga that if no one has complained, that the men in the white coats will not be at the airport to pick me up :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Wow Vicki. :goodvibes :goodvibes I can't thank you enough. I was just asking Terry today as we went to lunch, how are you ever going to part with him??? I mean, you just can't believe how attached she is.

I am so glad MTM called you and asked if he could stay. The seniors love him. The preschoolers love him. And O M G, my boss loves him!!!

I haven't talked to her yet, but I know she is delighted.

And probably sobbing.... :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

But they are tears of joy! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
