Pal Mickey (& Friends) Adventures & Fashions

Pal rec'd his several new outfits today: Golfing and golf clubs, Navy Blue suit jacket and red tie, red and navy tshirt. He wants to share his outfits now even before he gets to wear them to the parks or other outings.

the blue suit, tie and tshirt came from jiminee's. the tshirt is like the lime green cap sleeve shirt from there, three snaps on back. so no pulling over head. the red shirt sleeves make it more a long sleeve although the cap sleeve isn't much shorter in sleeves. Length of shirts are same. I think I will stick to the cap sleeve ones just for a little shorter sleeve.

The Golfer and clubs outfit came off a starbucks bear. Tight to get over head or pants on but once on works great.

Min also rec'd a new outfit today and as Pal she just has to show it now before going to the parks <G> She is ready though for the Flower and Garden Show at Epcot. This outfit also came off a starbucks bear. Min is a plush so much easier to get her dressed than it was with Pal in same size outfit.

I love the Blue jacket, he looks so spiffy and just in time for Easter! That Bearista outfit looks PERFECT on Minnie!!! I had originally though when seeing it when it came out it would be cute for Pal but oh my goodness it is just TOO perfect on her! I'd probably still put it on Pal if I had one but with the little pink crocs and hat she is ready for the F&G weekends at Epcot!

Ok I'm not sure how on earth I ever forgot about this thread so I'm going to spend the rest of today starting on page 1 and getting a good does of smiles.

I too originally thought the gardener one would be for Pal. Then when found the golfer one thought he could wear that and she wear gardener. But I know they are going to share that outfit. Pal's blue crocs will look cute too.

I forgot to take pic of the bandana that is in the pack pocket of pants.

Marsha - just need one more touch for Minnie's straw hat. How about a small flower? Would be more lady like, dontcha think?????

OH what a great idea. i didn't even think of doing that. i just put it on her the way it came. this is why i need ppl like you and others that are creative to remind me, help me, etc.... to do think of those kind of things <G>

so guess i need to find flower for the hat. but be able to remove it for when Pal wears it <G> :goodvibes

thanks. after i ordered the jacket and tie as seperates i saw the whole suit with pants they sell too.

oh well just have to use what pants he has or shorts that look like pants.

:thumbsup2

Ok i don't have a flower but I turned the hat around (I had to cut slits for her ears) around so now she eyebrows show. I put a ribbon around with a bow in the back. So until I can get a flower this will have to do. at least now you know its Minnie as her entire face shows and the ribbon makes it little more danity <G>

Minn feels better about the hat too and thanks DisGal for suggesting the flower. She doesn't understand why I didn't think of it first LOL

Theresa and others who have done tie dye. I LOVE the socks. Never thought to do that. I think Vicki must have mentioned it at some point elsewhere or I saw a photo of the earlier tie dyes but I've thought of doing the shirts for my little traveling bunch but have never never NEVER thought of doing socks And I know there was another post months and possibly it was 2006 but sadly can't remember who did it.. but anyways they are AMAZING!

So how do you get the different directions so nicely. The ones with the 3 colors layered from ankle to toe is so cool and yet the ones with 2 colors cut almost in half the other direction .. well love it! So for someone who is a tie dye novice could you explain or show me how you place the rubber bands to get that affect? I haven't done tie dye since I was in Brownies and though it was after Dinosauers last walked the Earth it sure seems close to it. :)

Becky those dragon slippers are adorable! as is the sleeper he is wearing.

I've spent the afternoon going back thru and looking at the old post. Some I've read before others I lost track of the thread. It was great fun reading about Tommy's adventures with Terry and Steff, seeing photos from around the country thru the eyes of Mice :)

ReAnSt: Love the photos of Stitch and Pal and what a great chess set!

This is scrapbook related but Mom found Mickey icon buttons at the scrapbook store that have adhesive on the back. We're going to try to get the adhesive off but thought the buttons could be added to things. I have overalls for the boys that I think have a pocket on the bib section that would probably look great with an added button. I have to get out and see if I can find a set, Mom bought the last set but worst case she'll have them on Easter.

Had a great afternoon reading past adventures and I'm going to bookmark the thread so this time I don't lose it again LOL

Happy Easter!

Hiya Diane, cool about those mickey icon buttons.

oh forgot to mention in early post that Min also rec'd today her Princess Ariel dress. She already has Cindarella and Aurora. Disney shopping this size princess dolls marked down so much, and they fit plush Min almost perfectly.

Diane, you know to subscribe to a thread? so when anyone posts you receive an email of notifications? Plus this thread is sticky at top of the forum.

well hope to see some pics of your boys and any adventures.

I have already used those Mickey buttons and removed the sticky backing from them and sewed them onto things. I sewed one of the large ones onto a shirt for Snuggle and onto a few other things. My friend loves Snuggle and Disney so I combined the 2, sorry the picture isn't that great.

They come in a pack of mixed colors and sizes, with adhesive on the back.

I'm not sure where I put the rest of the package but I'll have to figure out what to do with them. I'm thinking Mickey and Stitch will need a shirt with the lime green ones and maybe some of the others. Thanks for reminding me.

I'm loving coming on and seeing all the pictures. I am home now so will get some pictures of Nicky posted this week-end outfits that I haven't tried on him yet. Keep those pictures and stories coming!

oh those buttons are so cute. i have seen them at michaels before but just looked over not realizing what they were. to get them on clothes would you have to sew them on? I don't sew, <G> instead of taking home-ec I took gun safety LOL. Hey I grew up in the country on a farm, gun safety seemed more important than learning to cook or sew <G>

You could stick one on those little foamie visors from Michael's.

I like idea of one on front of overalls. Pal has two pair of jean overalls. one has a painted mickey icon the other has nothing on bib.

use them to cover up a logo on shirt gotten from like build a bear, friends2B, etc....

make earrings for Minn <G> or a necklace too

endless possibilities <G>

Becky, I love Mickey's polka dot shorts. Mickey & Stitch look like they were having fun on the beach again. We have snow on the ground again so Mickey doesn't want to go outside.
