Pajamas... at school?

Do you ever wear pajamas to school?

I find this trend of wearing pj's to school rather strange. People at my school even wear slippers to school lol. Personally, I'd feel uncomfortable wearing my pajama pants in public.

So, I'd value your insight on this subject.

Edit: I'm not passing judgment on anyone that does wear pajamas in public, this is just a mare observation.

That is another thing that boggles my mind! Do these people sleep in the pjs they wear to school?!

I've seen maybe 3 since I've start HS. Usually it's a t-shirt, some pj bottoms and flip flops. Occasionally I'll see slippers. My teacher keeps her house slippers in her room and wheres them in class, but she's never worn pajamas to school. I wouldn't feel comfortable in them, but I don't care what anyone else wears. Plus my pjs are huge and oversized so I'd look pretty funny. lol.

I'm not allowed to. Against the dress code. Sweatpants are seen on the same level as pj's so we can't wear those either.

Forgive me I haven't gone to a non-uniform school since 5th grade. This is something all the "cool" kids would do, and back and those days I'd somehow weasled myself into their group, lol. Our teacher told us on our field trip we couldn't look like a bunch of lazy kids, so no wearing PJ bottoms.

Yes, I wear PJs to school. I don't see a problem with it since a lot of people wear them. IMHO, I'd rather see PJ bottoms than an inappropriate outfit.

We're not allowed to. It's the same kind of thing if you wear short shorts or tube tops. But when we had pajama day in elementary school, we were aloud to wear them.

In my high school, we were only able to do that on special days. Otherwise, it was follow the dress code or get RAC.

In college tho, people do it all the time. ^__^

I would never wear pjs to school. I also never wear sweatpants. Im just not comfertable in baggy pants. I usually wear jeans,skirts, or dresses

No, I don't wear pajamas to school. I honestly feel that if you do, the atmosphere is different and you're not like in the same "zone" as everybody else.

Plus, it seems kind of like 'unprofessional' even though your at school.

I don't wear PJs to school. I wear sweatpants all the time. But not grungy yucky baggy lazy ones. Cute and comfy ones. I feel more comfortable in them than I do in jeans(altough I wear jeans), and as long as I don't look like a complete slob, I wear them. Some people did last year a lot, so the VP made an announcment reminding everyone that sweats were ok, but pjs are not allowed.
