I'm packing to leave for Orlando tomorrow. We leave on the fantasy on Saturday!! I'm wondering how the temp is in the rooms at night. I'm not sure how warm to dress the kiddos-long sleeve/pant pj's or short sleeve/short (or a combo). What has your experience been?

Depends - if your husband is like mine, it's freezing! He adjusts it to as cold as it gets. I pack long pant and short sleeve pjs.

As noted, you set the temperature you prefer in your room. Each room has it's own thermostat.

I was freezing the whole cruise in the cabin. I had it set all the way on 3 reds but it was still cold. I don't think the thermostat in the room really does that much. You can make it cooler but not warmer.

Sounds like a thermostat problem. Did you report it? The temperature in our rooms has always adjusted to whichever direction I've set it (usually warmer, since the room hosts seem to like the rooms colder when working in them).

Like Princess said it was most likely a problem with the thermostat. We had a room like this once. We generally prefer a cooler room but no matter how much we tried to adjust it was too cold. We reported the problem and they ended up replacing it. Worked perfectly the rest of the cruise.

I am always warm at night...at home and anywhere on vacation. I always have set to be COLD!!

Yes, the thermostat has always worked in our room. We like it a little chillier when we sleep, however, but I still only bring short sleeve gown or PJ set.

You can if you have a working thermostat. You had a bad one. If it happens again, report it to maintenance! They can fix it fast.

We kept our room cold. For my son, I brought pants and long sleeved pajamas. The blankets on the kids beds aren't as heavy as the duvet coverlet thingy on the bed in the room. I had short sleeves and lightweight cotton pajama pants and was fine.

Our kids wore their regular long-sleeved pant PJs (Hannas, mostly, if that matters). My husband and I fought over the thermostat
worth noting though - pp is totally correct. The duvet on the big bed is MUCH warmer than the blankets on the kids' beds
