Put paint to canvas as you recreate a classic Disney picture. Award-winning artist Marla E will show you how to bring the magic of Disney to life using basic art supplies.

Whenever it began, we were at BLT and I had seen a flyer promoting it. I know my sister does things like this at Michael's often, and to make our timing even better, the friend she often does it with will also be our guest for this July 4th visit.

So, they have other "lessons" to compare it with. I will post here.

We did it, and it was fun!

The class had between 15-20 folks, and it seems some were recently added, as they had to add a 5th chair to some tables. It did seem crowded in that sense. Tina says her chair was constantly being knocked by the fellow behind her, until she said something.

We 3 did not drink alcohol, but it seemed that people were allowed to taste some of the wines before deciding. People who wanted a beer were asked if they wanted it on a glass or in the bottle.

Snacks were plentiful, a tray each of cheese, fruit and veggies with dip. Also crackers, and the food was refilled.

Ok....the lesson...we used stencils, and our teacher helped. Here are our results! We are left to right, Tina, myself and my sister Nancy.

Tina's Avatar in MDE is Lady, and she volunteers and helps animal shelters and rescue organizations. Gus is ours because of her suggestion, for us, it was the perfect painting subject.

Gus....our 5 year old hound mix, ours thanks to Tina, who alert us to the website that featured him!
