Does anyone have pictures of painted fireplugs? I've been wanting to paint the one in front of our house and I need some ideas.

Hey Craig, just saying hello.

While I am here, you best check with the local fire department. We have one in front of our house that Marie wanted to paint years ago, checked, and was told no, has to be the color it is. Just an FYI. She does have flowers planted around the base though. Looks nice.

Good to see you.

Thanks Dan! I thought that was the case. Many communities have fire hydrant painting contests though.

Good to hear from you. BTW, four trips to WDW this year from Indiana. Possibly five. (New Years, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween & maybe Christmas/New Years.)

Better ask first. When I was a firefighter, they were color coded to indicate how large the water line it was attached to was. That determined what type of hookup we had to make, hard or soft. Red was hard, and yellow was soft.
