Paint the Night Dining Packages

I just got off the phone with DLR Dining to see if they had more info about the viewing location. The rep I spoke to said their notes just state, "By the castle". Hopefully it will be by the Partner's Statue, and not the RR Station. That would make the FW viewing a bonus!

What are the chances they let you stay there for fireworks and not clear the area first? Would be a HUGE bonus to be able to stay there! Might be enough to convince my family to do it!

When we were there a couple of weeks ago, there was reserved viewing for VIP's of some sort both in the hub looking down main street and also around the flag at the beginning of main street. Don't know if these will be the viewing for the packages, though. All I know is this seems to be another way for Disney to make money by charging for something that is already free. Just MHO. Not impressed.
