DD just picked this out for her room. We are going to paint her room but what and how. I am open to any suggestions. This is what she wants for her birthday-turning 14 at the end of the month.

I like the light blue that is in the pattern. I would paint most of her room that color. I might paint the wall behind her bed with a brighter color, my pick would be the pink.

If you are going to paint all the walls, I'd go with the light blue in there also. All the other colors are just too much for the whole room. If you leave 2 or 3 walls white, I'd do the remaining 1 or 2 walls in the orange (or whichever of the other colors she likes best - orange is just my personal preference).

I'd do the blue too, with one accent wall one of the other colors!

First thing that came to mind is, I'd go with the light sky blue. And maybe a white wall. I'd maybe put a few painted circles in the same shades here and there. Maybe have them resting on or against a couple of painted squares for the fun of it.

At Lowe's and other places they have vinyl like sticker's or rub on's that can go on the wall. i think I have seen circle one's before that you could accent a wall with.

Another vote for the Blue and also one accent wall! (I'd go with pink for the accent wall)

I guess you aren't looking for white. ;) Then blue.

Well, the first thought I had was to paint the top half pink and the bottom half green. You could do a white border between the pink and green and paint the circles in the bright colors along the white border kind of haphazardly (if that makes sense). She's only 14--not 40. Go for the color!

Just wanted to add that I have seen the half and half walls done with purple and green and a Tinkerbelle border dividing the colors. It had the Tink sparkles sporatically along the top and was adorable!

What colors does DD want?

My first thought was the pale pink in some of the circle conjunctions, with an accent wall.

Or, as PPs said, light blue with an accent wall (the kiwi green would be fun, if the blue has any green/yellow tones in it...my computer monitor doesn't do color totally well...).

I like the idea of the blue with an accent wall (I think I'd do it as the wall that the bed would sit against) but I think I'd do it orange.

Orange can be tricky though.

I started me own paint thread awhile back for my nursery and people had some horror stories about orange.

My vote is for pink. Light pink, like on the wall in the picture on the left.

My vote would be yellow. It would make the colors pop + it's cheery.

Guess I'm the odd person out...but we are all about bright colors here...I'd go with that limey green!!!!

Now, I figured that I would be the only one who would say pink and green! :) I think a teen would love those colors!

Her room right now is a purply blue so I am going to guess she won't want to go with the blue. She doesn't know what she wants exactly so that is why we are asking here. She is a bright, bubbly kid so bold colors are ok. Southernbelle-I will have to check out Lowe's. I like the idea of adding circles to the walls. Pooh Crew-I like that idea. It would be easy enough to tape off the white and if the circles at Lowe's work, that would be easy.

Last summer someone posted a picture of their DD's room that got damaged in the floods and it was done something like that. I tried to find the post but the search feature here.... .

Keep the ideas coming and if you have pictures of ideas that would be great!

I'm just curious where you found it...DD loves the lime green and we haven't found a bed set that she totally loves.. this one is kinda cute!!

How about a light pink with a lime green accent wall?

Or try to find the stick on circles (or make them yourself!) and do white walls with multi colored circles!
