My house is very open the kitchen and great room are attached. The great room is in a very light beige the kitchen part is off white. Depending on what tome of day it is I feel sometimes it looks a little dingy or too brownish. I love color but this is our entire living space and I am afraid of something too dramatic. Should I go from the beige to a whiter color, or to something with a little more color to it?I have cherry furniture in both rooms, kitchen cabinets are white. thanks.

I like "Tobacco Road" by Duron--it's a pretty goldish.

We have a large family room that is a very light green (pea) color with a hint of gray in it that works very nicely with the cherry furniture and white trim on all the windows and moldings.

I paint everything beige or cream. I'm very daring.

I would leave your color as is, but add one wall of a reddish, brick color as an accent.
