Paid up-yay loonie!

Paid off the upcoming trip on Friday and was so thrilled that waiting paid off re: exchange rate...so excited for this trip!!!

So exciting!! When we paid our trip off on Jul 6 I believe it went through the visa at 1.19 YUCKERS.

Good news though, when I went and bought our travellers cheques on Friday it was 1.08.

I think I'll go on Friday and get our cash, maybe even better by then, we leave a week tomorrow

Good for you. We have to pay our balance on the 11th - what to do? what to do? Actually we'll pay it off on the 11th and hope the rate is good. Then spending money - that will be the big question - when do we buy? As someone said it gets more real as these deadlines pass!! Have fun everyone - we plan to!!!

Just transferred some $$$ into my USD acct at $1.08.21!!! Whoo-Hooo!!
Went shopping in Buffalo this past Friday and everything I bought converted at $1.09 which was nice too!!

Even Canada Customs (PST & GST) used $1.08 as the exchange rate!

Niceeeeee....
