PaHunters camping season comes to an abrupt close due to cancer.

So WBC dropped to .21 it is what it is. Feeling good, working lego's. Breakfast in a little bit. Long boring day ahead as it is supposed to rain all day and in to tomorrow. Still planning on Reba coming to visit. DW said she was at the door last night whining which she has never done.

At least you have something to help occupy your time. Gloomy rainy days are tough, I feel like I have channel my inner Eeyore and just be comfortable feeling a little gloomy. I can't begin to image how it feels when stuck at the hospital.

It is good to hear the immune is responding. Not the great news, but is positive. Enjoy your meet with Reeba.

Absolutely enjoy the pizza!

Oh, those blood counts!! The results can really put us on an emotional rollercoaster can't they?

With nDH (nonDisney Husband) it's his creatinine that we're keeping the eagle eye on as his kidney function isn't coming back as fast as we'd like. So even with the treatment being over he's still going to infusion 3 x a week for IV hydration to pump liquid through his kidneys.

As Roseanne Roseannadanna says "It's always something!".

PS I'm super impressed with your Lego builds! I have neither the patience nor the skill for that.

Chris, just wanted you to know that Teresa and I are thinking about you and continue to pray for you. My Sunday School class also knows about our fellow Disney friend. Hang in there man :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

So late update tonight, we have a donor, 2nd transplant will take place on the 13 of Nov. Week before will once again be chemo and radiation.
Donor is from Italy, so if I show up at next Dismeet, whipping up italian food, well that is why. How does one prepare italian squirrel ? If I can stay healthy and complication free, should be out just before Christmas.

Thank you all so much for the well wishes and prayers. Want to get better, need to go on a ghost tour of Gettysburg while down there..

I'll cook you up some itallian food. Squirrel is probably like rabbit, so stewed in a sause would probably be best. Hang in there and im glad ro here you got a doner.

Chris you will need to expand your current talents in speaking with your hands.
Also FURGETTABOUTIT is one word
PS Once the transplant takes Tomato based sauce is now GRAVY. Italian Squirrel is one or more simmered in gravy

After this transplant he'll be eating at Tony's Town Square on MK days.

Chris, the word you're looking for is: scoiattolo

The worst part of this whole transplant is that I have had allergies all my life and very little to no sense of smell. Well seems that my first transplant caused my sense of smell to be reset, not happy about that. Will need to have an allergy screening done in the future to see if they were changed.
Have this week to recover and get rest. Next week starts treatment again to prepare for transplant. Guess after the radiation this time I will loose the last few hairs that survived the last treatment. Well Dr is here for morning rounds, go to go.

Hey, hey, HEY there is no need to ABUSE PaHunter by making him eat the swill at TTS while at MK. :sad2:

There is finer cuisine I'd be willing to chip in for: anything from a foot long all-beef hot dog at Casey's to the Be Our Guest fixed menu.

Ate at Tony on one of our trips, was not bad at all.

Well then, you were one of the lucky ones. The reviews HISTORICALLY for years for Tony's are poor overall. But it would be your choice.

Tony's is actually a family favorite for us as well. We always have a good experience and enjoy the food. For the record, we are not 'foodies,' so we aren't big fans of the more eclectic fare, but our kids want Tony's worked into every trip we have!

Based strictly on our last trip in 2019 I would agree with Bama-Ed's description of TTS fare as swill. We both got the Chicken Parm. and it was on par with Marie Callender's ( I suspect theirs is more gooder). Prior to that it was a must do for my wife, She loved the Caprese and I generally found something worth trying. The Scampi in 2018 was fantastic ( 2019 it was less than meh ) Reluctantly we will give it another try this year
I would suggest we bring PaHunter to Crystal Palace. Him at the head of this crew in the Friendship Parade after his recovery would be well worth it
