I used the Cricuit to make the characters for my door. They came out so cute.

Did you just put magnets on the back of them? I was thinking about doing that, but just never got around to it. I have the Expression so I can cut them up to 11". May have to work on that this weekend...along with about a million other things.

Sorry about your store, but sure will appreciate the extra goodies. I have always dreamed of doing that, but I know how hard it can be. My DH and I always joke that when we retire we going to open a model train/scrapbook store. That way we can attract the men and their wives.

Will this be ok with everyone? I originally had something different in mind, but it just wasn't working out very well. Let me know if this wasn't what you were thinking of and I can try again.

Hello again sorry I've been missing but I've had a busy few days. Now all work is finished and I can get on with my cruise preparations, Sunday is magnets and scrapbook kits, Monday is washing, Tuesday last minute stuff and Wednesday packing, we don't fly until Saturday but have a family wedding on Friday so we leave Thursday morning and won't return until after the TOAL.
Okay I have bought some bits for our pages and I'm thinking til we meet again if that's ok with you all, I would have liked to do the golden Mickeys first formal but I can't find what I need so I've changed tack, let me know asap if you'd rather have something else.

Okay folks, I need your votes since I can't decide myself. Should the title I make for Sea Days be:

A) No, We're Not There Yet!

B) Around the Ship in 8Sea Days

C) Getting There Is Half The Fun

D) What Happens On The Magic, Stays On Magic

I like B best but all are great as the others have said

Well Cheryl just filled me in on this thread (thanks Cheryl), yes ladies I am totally lost....I should have been a blond (but never was)...and today was my last day at my scrapbook store....

I am going to catch up on everything here tomorrow....but anyway I am bringing a bunch of stuff to share with everyone, making up a package. I have some pirate paper, some beach and cruise stuff and some other little things to share with everyone....DH will say as long as it doesn't weigh too much...LOL.

I am so glad I am not alone being clueless in this whole world of scrapbooking. I thought a cricuit(cricket) was a bug!! I had trouble finding quantity of one thing so I have a variety of stuff. You can all pick and choose. I am sorry I can not devote more time to this but I am still doing other projects for the cruise. Got my little fingers into too many projects. Thanks everyone for being so understanding and letting me in to learn about this whole new world. After this cruise...........I will be bored so I will have lots of time to scrap. I have boxes and boxes full of pictures since John and I have been married for 40 years. I would like to leave a liitle bit of history for my dear grandchildren.

Happy to have you joining us. Sorry again to hear about your store but as I said on the main board you helped hundreds of people capture their wonderful memories and that is pretty cool.

Can you tell me how you did characters for your door opr better yet scan one in for me to look at. Did they end up being small or do you have the supper sized Cricut? I am working on door signs and would love some great ideas.

Christmas was my plan too but then I joined this swop and managed to convince my husband that to do the page layout I'd got in mind it would be very useful to have now so guess what he bought me yesterday for our anniversary!!!

I'm so happy, I've used it for my swop page so you'll all get to see my work.

East Bound Repoer's Jill sailed with Cheryl & I on the 10nt -- the 10nt was her Honeymoon. She got married at WDW!!!

What a great gift!!! I kind of wish this is what dh would have bought me for my b-day but...he did buy me a GPS and I had wanted one for years..... I had asked for one when we bought my car a couple of years ago but, the only Expedition they had on the lot with a GPS was really ugly inside (Ivory & dk brown leather, I did NOT want two-toned seats) and was $6,000 more....
I think he only remembered the GPS because I was REALLY angry at him that week -- and I haven't been angry at him in about 15yrs!!!!-- and he wanted tomake me really happy!!!
