Page failures

Multiple times today, when trying to click into forums or into threads, I've gotten the following message:


Hitting "Reload" brings the desired page up. The only commonality is it's through my home network and the Dis (not on other sites). Anyone else?

Yes, me too, although the exact message is slightly different (perhaps the browser I use is different from yours). If I click 'refresh', the page loads correctly. Has never happened before today.

Just did it again, so I clipped an image of the page. (Typically use Microsoft Edge when internet surfing at home on my PC.)

Me three. It started last night on my PC (Chrome). I'm on a PC (Firefox) today and it hasn't been happening as much.

I should have specified I use Chrome on all my devices. Hasn't happened for a number of hours now (probably jinxed myself).

I'm back home on Chrome and it is happening again. I have ad blockers on both computers and regularly opt out of cookies/tracking when prompted. Regardless, in the couple minutes that it took me to type this, 30 trackers have been blocked on this site. Could that be it?

I also use an adblocker on my home PC with Microsoft Edge as my browser and don't get that message on any other website except here. I would assume it is some interaction with other background software running this site.

I spoke too soon. Happened twice this morning, once when clicking a reaction.

I don't think it's ad blockers because ad blockers don't work on my phone or tablet.

So now we've had reports of multiple devices, multiple networks, multiple browsers. The only commonality is Disboards.

I know nothing But the Disboards allows there threads to go on forever and I wonder if that is part of the problem .
Maybe if they cleaned up the site we wouldn’t have so much glitch .
It can be very irritating and I don’t really need to know all the responses from 20 years ago.

Been happening to me also starting yesterday. I only use Chrome and sometimes it avoids the message if I click into the next post before posting.

I emailed Corey. After two days with no acknowledgement that he's seen this thread, the issue still happening, and his pinned thread about emailing him with board issues, I figure I'd take the next step.

Still happening to me. Now it pops up sometimes even after a page is loaded. No response to my email either.
